他必说：‘我不是先知，我是耕地的；我从幼年作人的奴仆。’

那时他必说：‘我不是先知，只是耕地的人；因为我自幼以来，就被卖为奴。’

他必說：『我不是先知，我是耕地的；我從幼年作人的奴僕。』

他乃是要說：「我不是神言人，我乃是耕地的人；因為我從幼年以來地就是我所有的。」

他會說：『我不是先知，我是種地的，因為在我年幼時，就被人賣為奴。』

乃曰、我非先知、乃農夫耳、自幼為奴、

乃告人曰、我非先知、我乃農夫、我自幼時、被鬻為奴。

乃告人曰、我非先知、我乃農夫、我自幼時、被鬻為奴、被鬻為奴或作人使我守群畜

Each will say,‘ I am not a prophet. I am a farmer; the land has been my livelihood since my youth.’

In fact, each one will say,‘ I’m not really a prophet. I’m a farmer. I’ve farmed the land since I was young.’

but he will say,‘ I am no prophet, I am a worker of the soil, for a man sold me in my youth.’

He will say,‘ I’m no prophet; I’m a farmer. I began working for a farmer as a boy.’

He will say,‘ I am not a prophet; I work the land, for a man purchased me as a servant since my youth.’

but he will say,‘ I am not a prophet; I am a cultivator of the ground, because a man sold me as a slave in my youth.’

But he will say,‘ I am no prophet, I am a farmer; for a man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.’

but he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondman from my youth.

He will say: I am not a prophet; I work the land, for a man purchased me as a servant since my youth.

But he shall say, I[ am] no prophet, I[ am] an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.

Instead he will say,‘ I am no prophet– indeed, I am a farmer, for a man has made me his indentured servant since my youth.’

but he will say,‘ I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondservant from my youth.’

Amos answered Amaziah,“ I was neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore- fig trees. (niv)

When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done.A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas.In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power. (niv)
