當是日必有泉源、為大衛家及耶路撒冷居民而開、或作當是日必為大衛家與耶路撒冷居民湧出一泉得以滌罪去污、

“ On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.

翌日、如望見耶穌來就。乃曰：『此除免世罪、天主之羔羊也！

爾中以前亦有屬此類者、今則已賴吾主耶穌基督之名及天主聖神之恩、而洗滌夙穢且受聖而復義矣。

聖子非他、即以水以血救世之耶穌基督是已。以水以血、不僅以水也。尚有聖神為之作證。聖神者、真諦也。

時一老者詢予曰：「彼身着白袍者誰？何自而來也？」予應之曰：「公自知之。」渠乃語予曰：若輩來自憂患中、備嘗艱辛、曾藉羔羊之血、自濯其袍、所服皜皜乎不可尚已；

夫以山羊牡牛之血、與夫牝牛之灰、灑於汙染之人、尚能潔其身而聖之；矧以基督無玷之身、憑聖神而自獻於天主之寶血、不更應滌吾人之良心於一切致死之行、俾得昭事永生之天主乎？

嗟我小子。含罪而生。始孕母胎。自已染塵。

與真實無妄之見證、死者中最先復活、而統治世間萬王者、耶穌基督、降爾聖寵、錫爾平安、基督垂愛吾人、以其寶血滌除吾人之罪；復使吾人自成神國、俾得充其天主聖父之司鐸；伏願光榮威權、永世歸之、萬代靡暨、心焉祝之。

乃為基督之寶血。基督乃無玷無染之羔羊！

為夫者當愛其妻、亦如基督之愛教會；基督為教會而舍己、以聖道和水、洗之使潔、俾其成聖、為己造就光華燦爛之教會、既無瑕疵、又無縐容、惠中秀外、玉潔冰清。

惟一卒以矛刺其肋、血水迸出。為斯證者、乃一目擊其事之人、其證真實、渠自知己之所言不妄、俾爾等信之。

不視人之行為、一惟彼之仁愛、藉重生之洗禮、賜吾人以救拔；因聖神之妙工、予吾人以復新。而天主之所以沛然以聖神傾注於吾人之心者、實以我救主耶穌基督之功。吾人托其恩澤、乃得免罪復義、而承嗣永生之望焉。
