In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

“ On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.

“ At that time a fountain will be opened for the benefit of David’s family line. It will also bless the others who live in Jerusalem. It will wash away their sins. It will make them pure and‘ clean.’

“ On that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness.

“ On that day a fountain will be opened for the dynasty of David and for the people of Jerusalem, a fountain to cleanse them from all their sins and impurity.

“ In that day there will be a spring opened to David’s house and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.

On the morrow he seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world!

And such were some of you: but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.

And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood.

And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, These that are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and whence came they?And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling them that have been defiled, sanctify unto the cleanness of the flesh:how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.

Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

O Jehovah, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be put to shame. They that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Jehovah, the fountain of living waters.

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood;and he made us to be a kingdom, to be priests unto his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first- born.In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, even the blood of Christ:

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath an issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.Every bed whereon he that hath the issue lieth shall be unclean; and everything whereon he sitteth shall be unclean.And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.And he that sitteth on anything whereon he that hath the issue sat shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean, then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.And what saddle soever he that hath the issue rideth upon shall be unclean.And whosoever toucheth anything that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.And whomsoever he that hath the issue toucheth, without having rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.And the earthen vessel, which he that hath the issue toucheth, shall be broken; and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue, then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes; and he shall bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtle- doves, or two young pigeons, and come before Jehovah unto the door of the tent of meeting, and give them unto the priest:and the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin- offering, and the other for a burnt- offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah for his issue.And if any man’s seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall bathe all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.The woman also with whom a man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be in her impurity seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.And everything that she lieth upon in her impurity shall be unclean: everything also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.And whosoever toucheth anything that she sitteth upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.And if it be on the bed, or on anything whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.And if any man lie with her, and her impurity be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days not in the time of her impurity, or if she have an issue beyond the time of her impurity; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness she shall be as in the days of her impurity: she is unclean.Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her impurity: and everything whereon she sitteth shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her impurity.And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtle- doves, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tent of meeting.And the priest shall offer the one for a sin- offering, and the other for a burnt- offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her before Jehovah for the issue of her uncleanness.Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is in the midst of them.This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed of copulation goeth from him, so that he is unclean thereby;and of her that is sick with her impurity, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.

Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified above Judah.In that day shall Jehovah defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of Jehovah before them.

And I will save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine upon you.

And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place; and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water for impurity: it is a sin- offering.And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days:the same shall purify himself therewith on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.Whosoever toucheth a dead person, the body of a man that hath died, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water for impurity was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.This is the law when a man dieth in a tent: every one that cometh into the tent, and every one that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.And whosoever in the open field toucheth one that is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.And for the unclean they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin- offering; and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:and a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave:and the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify him; and he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of Jehovah: the water for impurity hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them: and he that sprinkleth the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he that toucheth the water for impurity shall be unclean until even.And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.

Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

howbeit one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and straightway there came out blood and water.And he that hath seen hath borne witness, and his witness is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye also may believe.

If I wash myself with snow water, And make my hands never so clean;Yet wilt thou plunge me in the ditch, And mine own clothes shall abhor me.

not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour;that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
