「耶和華必先拯救猶大的帳棚，免得大衛家的榮耀和耶路撒冷居民的榮耀勝過猶大。

『永恆主必像先前賜勝利給猶大的帳棚，使大衛家的光榮跟耶路撒冷居民的光榮不至於勝過猶大其餘城市的光榮。

耶和華必首先拯救猶大的帳篷，為要使大衛家的榮耀和耶路撒冷居民的榮耀不超過猶大。

耶和華必先救猶大之幕、俾大衛家與耶路撒冷居民之榮、不得越於猶大、

我耶和華必先救猶大之帷幕、使大闢家之華美、耶路撒冷之榮顯、不復藐視猶大、

主必先救猶大之帷幕、帷幕或作營為欲使大衛家及耶路撒冷居民、不得向猶大民自誇、向猶大民自誇或作自榮藐視猶大

“ The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah.

“ I will save the houses in Judah first. The honor of David’s family line is great. So is the honor of those who live in Jerusalem. But their honor will not be greater than the honor of the rest of Judah.

“ And the Lord will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not surpass that of Judah.

“ The Lord will give victory to the rest of Judah first, before Jerusalem, so that the people of Jerusalem and the royal line of David will not have greater honor than the rest of Judah.

The LORD will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of David’s house and the glory of Jerusalem’s residents may not be greater than that of Judah.

The Lord also will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem will not be greater than Judah.

“ The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah.

Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified above Judah.

The LORD also will deliver the homes of Judah first, so that the splendor of the kingship of David and of the people of Jerusalem may not exceed that of Judah.

Yahweh also will save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of David’s house and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem not be magnified above Judah.

耶和華如此說：「看哪，我必使雅各被擄去的帳棚歸回，也必顧惜他的住處。城必建造在原有的廢墟上，宮殿也必照樣有人居住。

到那日，眼目高傲的必降卑，狂妄的人必屈膝；惟獨耶和華被尊崇。因萬軍之耶和華的一個日子要臨到所有驕傲狂妄的，臨到一切自高的，使他們降為卑；臨到黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹、巴珊的橡樹，臨到一切高山、一切峻嶺，臨到一切碉堡、一切堅固的城牆，臨到他施一切的船隻、一切華麗的船艇。人的驕傲必屈膝，人的狂妄必降卑；在那日，惟獨耶和華被尊崇，

「在那日，我必重建大衛倒塌的帳幕，修補其中的缺口；我必建立那遭破壞的，重新修造，如古時一般，

我曾說：「恐怕他們向我誇耀，我失腳的時候，他們向我誇口。」

若你們真要向我誇大，以我的羞辱來責備我，

既是這樣，哪裏可誇口呢？沒有可誇的。是藉甚麼法呢？功德嗎？不是！是藉信主之法。

那時，耶穌說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你把這些事向聰明智慧的人隱藏起來，而向嬰孩啟示出來。父啊，是的，因為你的美意本是如此。

當日約就廢了。因此，那些羊羣中最困苦的，看着我，就知道這真是耶和華的話。

願那喜歡我遭難的一同抱愧蒙羞！願那向我妄自尊大的披戴慚愧，蒙受羞辱！

但是他賜更多的恩典，正如經上說：「上帝抵擋驕傲的人，但賜恩給謙卑的人。」

我們有這寶貝放在瓦器裏，為要顯明這莫大的能力是出於上帝，不是出於我們。我們處處受困，卻不被捆住；內心困擾，卻沒有絕望；遭受迫害，卻不被撇棄；擊倒在地，卻不致滅亡。我們身上常帶着耶穌的死，使耶穌的生也在我們身上顯明。因為我們這活着的人常為耶穌被置於死地，使耶穌的生命在我們這必死的人身上顯明出來。這樣看來，死是在我們身上運作，生卻在你們身上運作。

於是法利賽人說：「你們也受了迷惑嗎？難道官長或法利賽人中有信他的嗎？但這些不明白律法的眾人是被詛咒的！」

弟兄們哪，想一想你們的蒙召，按着人的觀點，有智慧的不多，有能力的不多，有尊貴地位的也不多。但是，上帝揀選了世上愚拙的，為了使有智慧的羞愧；又揀選了世上軟弱的，為了使強壯的羞愧。上帝也揀選了世上卑賤的，被人厭惡的，以及那一無所有的，為要廢掉那樣樣都有的，使凡血肉之軀的，在上帝面前，一個也不能自誇。但你們得以在基督耶穌裏是本乎上帝，他使基督成為我們的智慧，成為公義、聖潔、救贖。如經上所記：「要誇耀的，該誇耀主。」

這是萬軍之耶和華所定的，為要貶抑一切榮耀的狂傲，使地上一切尊貴的人被藐視。

原來，不是仇敵辱罵我，若是仇敵，還可忍受；也不是恨我的人向我狂妄自大，若是恨我的人，我必躲避他。

他用膀臂施展大能；他趕散心裏妄想的狂傲人。他叫有權柄的失位，叫卑賤的升高。他叫飢餓的飽餐美食，叫富足的空手回去。

耶和華如此說：「智慧人不要因他的智慧誇口，勇士不要因他的力氣誇口，財主也不要因他的財富誇口；誇口的卻要誇自己有聰明，認識我是耶和華，知道我喜悅在世上施行慈愛、公平和公義。這是耶和華說的。

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽，上帝豈不是揀選了世上的貧窮人，使他們在信心上富足，並承受他所應許給那些愛他之人的國嗎？

他回答我說：「這是耶和華指示所羅巴伯的話。萬軍之耶和華說：不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的靈方能成事。

正當那時，耶穌被聖靈感動而歡喜快樂，說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你把這些事向聰明智慧的人隱藏起來，而向嬰孩啟示出來。父啊，是的，因為你的美意本是如此。
