耶和華必首先拯救猶大的帳篷，為要使大衛家的榮耀和耶路撒冷居民的榮耀不超過猶大。

“ The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah.

“ The Lord will give victory to the rest of Judah first, before Jerusalem, so that the people of Jerusalem and the royal line of David will not have greater honor than the rest of Judah.

The LORD will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of David’s house and the glory of Jerusalem’s residents may not be greater than that of Judah.

The Lord also will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem will not be greater than Judah.

到那日，人眼目的高慢必成卑贱，人的高傲也必会降卑，唯独耶和华被高举。因为必有万军之耶和华的一个日子，临到所有傲慢高傲的和所有自高的，使他们成为卑贱；又临到所有高耸挺拔的黎巴嫩香柏树和所有巴珊的橡树，临到所有的高山和所有的峻岭，临到所有高大的塔楼和所有坚固的城墙，临到所有塔尔施的船和所有华美的艇。到那日，人的高慢必会降卑，人的高傲必成卑贱；唯独耶和华被高举，

因为我曾说：“不要让他们对我幸灾乐祸；我的脚动摇时，不要让他们在我面前高抬自己。”

既然如此，还有什么可夸耀的呢？根本没有。凭着什么法则呢？凭着行为的法则吗？不是！而是凭着信的法则。

那时候，耶稣说：“父啊，天地的主，我赞美你，因为你把这些事向有智慧的和有学问的人隐藏起来，而向小孩子们显明出来。是的，父啊！因为这正是你的美意。

愿那些对我幸灾乐祸的，全都抱愧蒙羞；愿那些在我面前高抬自己的，披上耻辱和羞愧。

不过他赐下更大的恩典，所以经上说：“神抵挡骄傲的人，赐恩典给谦卑的人。”

不过我们有这宝物在瓦器里，为要显明这极大的能力是出于神，不是出于我们。我们处处受患难，却不被压碎；心里困惑，却没有绝望；受逼迫，却不被撇弃；被打倒，却没有灭亡。我们身上总是带着耶稣的死，好让耶稣的生命也在我们身上显明出来。的确，我们这些活着的人，为了耶稣的缘故，总是被置于死地，好让耶稣的生命也显明在我们这会死的肉体上。这样，死亡在我们里面做工，而生命却在你们里面做工。

法利赛人说：“难道你们也被迷惑了吗？难道首领或法利赛人中有信他的吗？这不懂律法的民众是被诅咒的！”

弟兄们，想一想你们所蒙的召唤：按人的标准，你们当中有智慧的不多，有权势的不多，出身高贵的也不多。然而神却拣选了世上愚拙的，为了使那些有智慧的羞愧；神又拣选了世上软弱的，为了使那些强壮的羞愧；神也拣选了世上出身低微的、被人藐视的，就是那些不是什么的，为了要废除那些是个什么的，好使所有的人在神面前都不能自夸，但本于神，你们却是在基督耶稣里的。基督耶稣为我们成了从神而来的智慧、公义、圣洁和救赎，为要像经上所记的：“夸耀的当在主里夸耀。”

是万军之耶和华策划了这事，为要折辱一切因华美而来的夸耀，使地上一切有尊荣的被藐视。

其实不是仇敌辱骂我——如果是，我还可以承受；也不是恨我的人在我面前高抬自己——如果是，我还可以躲藏。

他用膀臂施展大能，驱散那些心思意念骄傲的人。他把权能者从高位上拉下，又把卑微的人高举。他用美物满足饥饿的人，让富有的人空手而去。

我亲爱的弟兄们，请听！神难道不是拣选了世上的那些贫穷人，使他们在信仰上富有，并且做他国度的继承人吗？这国度是他应许给爱他之人的。

那时候，耶稣受了圣灵的感动就快乐，说：“父啊，天地的主，我赞美你，因为你把这些事向有智慧的和有学问的人隐藏起来，而向小孩子们显明出来。是的，父啊！因为这正是你的美意。”
