In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place,[ even] in Jerusalem.

“ On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.

“ At that time Judah’s family groups will be like a fire pot in a pile of wood. They will be like a burning torch among bundles of grain. They will destroy all the surrounding nations on every side. But Jerusalem will remain unharmed in its place.

“ On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.

“ On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a flame that sets a woodpile ablaze or like a burning torch among sheaves of grain. They will burn up all the neighboring nations right and left, while the people living in Jerusalem remain secure.

On that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves; they will consume all the peoples around them on the right and the left, while Jerusalem continues to be inhabited on its site, in Jerusalem.

“ On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot among pieces of wood and a flaming torch among sheaves, so they will consume on the right and on the left all the surrounding peoples, while the inhabitants of Jerusalem again live on their own sites in Jerusalem.

On that day I will make the leaders of Judah like an igniter among sticks and a burning torch among sheaves, and they will burn up all the surrounding nations right and left. Then the people of Jerusalem will settle once more in their place, the city of Jerusalem.

In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they will devour all the surrounding peoples, on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be[ any] remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken[ it].

And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited[ as] towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts[ to dwell] in[ other] cities.And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.Now these[ are] the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities,[ to wit], Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants.And at Jerusalem dwelt[ certain] of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem[ were] four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.And these[ are] the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah.And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.And Joel the son of Zichri[ was] their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah[ was] second over the city.Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin.Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub,[ was] the ruler of the house of God.And their brethren that did the work of the house[ were] eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah,And his brethren, chief of the fathers, two hundred forty and two: and Amashai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer[ was] Zabdiel, the son of[ one of] the great men.Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites,[ had] the oversight of the outward business of the house of God.And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph,[ was] the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.All the Levites in the holy city[ were] two hundred fourscore and four.Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates,[ were] an hundred seventy and two.And the residue of Israel, of the priests,[ and] the Levites,[ were] in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa[ were] over the Nethinims.The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem[ was] Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers[ were] over the business of the house of God.For[ it was] the king’s commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah,[ was] at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.And for the villages, with their fields,[ some] of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjatharba, and[ in] the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and[ in] the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and[ in] the villages thereof,And at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Bethphelet,And at Hazarshual, and at Beersheba, and[ in] the villages thereof,And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,And at Enrimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth,Zanoah, Adullam, and[ in] their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and[ in] the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beersheba unto the valley of Hinnom.The children also of Benjamin from Geba[ dwelt] at Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel, and[ in] their villages,[ And] at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.And of the Levites[ were] divisions[ in] Judah,[ and] in Benjamin.

The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink,[ and] make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls,[ and] as the corners of the altar.

And these[ are] the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.And the gates of the city[ shall be] after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi.And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.At the west side four thousand and five hundred,[ with] their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.[ It was] round about eighteen thousand[ measures]: and the name of the city from[ that] day[ shall be], The LORD[ is] there.

Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat[ them] small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD,[ and] shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

And this[ man] shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver[ us] from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people,[ but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream[ is] certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.

Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.

Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.

[ Let] the high[ praises] of God[ be] in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;To execute vengeance upon the heathen,[ and] punishments upon the people;To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east,[ shall be] holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet[ that were] of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and[ from] the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.And[ men] shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:

Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.

By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.
