The chieftains of Judah will say in their heart,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Yahweh of Armies their God.’

犹大的族长必心里说：‘耶路撒冷的居民倚靠万军之耶和华他们的神，就作我们的能力。’

犹大的族长心里要说：‘耶路撒冷的居民因倚靠万军之耶和华—他们的上帝，就成为我的力量。’

那時猶大族系就必心裏說：「耶路撒冷的居民是靠着萬軍之永恆主他們的上帝以得力量的。」

猶大的族長們心裡就說：『耶路撒冷的居民藉著萬軍之耶和華他們的神，成為我們的力量！』

猶大族長意謂、耶路撒冷居民、恃其上帝萬軍之耶和華、為我之力、

猶大之牧伯、自謂耶路撒冷居民、恃其上帝萬有之主耶和華、遂得能力、以左右余、

猶大諸牧伯自言、自言或作心中曰耶路撒冷居民、賴其天主萬有之主、得力以助我、

Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts,‘ The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the Lord Almighty is their God.’

Then the family groups of Judah will say in their hearts,‘ The people of Jerusalem are strong. That’s because the Lord who rules over all is their God.’

Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the Lord of hosts, their God.’

And the clans of Judah will say to themselves,‘ The people of Jerusalem have found strength in the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, their God.’

Then each of the leaders of Judah will think to himself: The residents of Jerusalem are my strength through the LORD of Armies, their God.

Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem are a strong support for us through the Lord of armies, their God.’

And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’

And the chieftains of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Jehovah of hosts their God.

Then each of the leaders of Judah will think to himself: The residents of Jerusalem are my strength through the Lord of Hosts, their God.

And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem[ shall be] my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

Then the leaders of Judah will say to themselves,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem are a means of strength to us through their God, the LORD who rules over all.’

the God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect?

I will strengthen them in Yahweh; and they will walk up and down in his name,” says Yahweh.

and a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

For you have armed me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called‘ The city of righteousness, a faithful town.’

All the nations surrounded me, but in Yahweh’s name, I cut them off.They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In Yahweh’s name I indeed cut them off.They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In Yahweh’s name I cut them off.You pushed me back hard, to make me fall, but Yahweh helped me.Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation.

Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a non- existent thing.For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you,‘ Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’Don’t be afraid, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel. I will help you,” says Yahweh.“ Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.Behold, I have made you into a new sharp threshing instrument with teeth. You will thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and will make the hills like chaff.You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, and the whirlwind will scatter them. You will rejoice in Yahweh. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.

“ I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back; for I have mercy on them; and they will be as though I had not cast them off: for I am Yahweh their God, and I will hear them.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Blessed be Yahweh, my rock, who teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to battle:

Ascribe strength to God! His excellency is over Israel, his strength is in the skies.You are awesome, God, in your sanctuaries. The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people. Praise be to God!

Your princes are rebellious and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes and follows after rewards. They don’t defend the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come to them.

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.

For Yahweh has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, the prophets; and he has covered your heads, the seers.

Now I know that Yahweh saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God.

Yahweh will roar from Zion, and thunder from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth will shake; but Yahweh will be a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.

then I will also cast away the offspring of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his offspring to be rulers over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to be reversed and will have mercy on them.”

In the land it shall be to him for a possession in Israel. My princes shall no more oppress my people; but they shall give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.”“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Let it suffice you, princes of Israel: remove violence and plunder, and execute justice and righteousness; dispossessing my people,” says the Lord Yahweh.

He has said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.

Hear Yahweh’s word, you rulers of Sodom! Listen to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah!

In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they will devour all the surrounding peoples, on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

For bronze I will bring gold; for iron I will bring silver; for wood, bronze, and for stones, iron. I will also make peace your governor, and righteousness your ruler.

Their prince will be one of them, and their ruler will proceed from among them. I will cause him to draw near, and he will approach me; for who is he who has had boldness to approach me?” says Yahweh.

My heart is toward the governors of Israel, who offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless Yahweh!
