And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’

猶大的族長們心裡就說：『耶路撒冷的居民藉著萬軍之耶和華他們的神，成為我們的力量！』

猶大族長意謂、耶路撒冷居民、恃其上帝萬軍之耶和華、為我之力、

猶大之牧伯、自謂耶路撒冷居民、恃其上帝萬有之主耶和華、遂得能力、以左右余、

猶大諸牧伯自言、自言或作心中曰耶路撒冷居民、賴其天主萬有之主、得力以助我、

Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts,‘ The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the Lord Almighty is their God.’

Then the family groups of Judah will say in their hearts,‘ The people of Jerusalem are strong. That’s because the Lord who rules over all is their God.’

Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the Lord of hosts, their God.’

And the clans of Judah will say to themselves,‘ The people of Jerusalem have found strength in the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, their God.’

Then each of the leaders of Judah will think to himself: The residents of Jerusalem are my strength through the LORD of Armies, their God.

Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem are a strong support for us through the Lord of armies, their God.’

And the chieftains of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Jehovah of hosts their God.

Then each of the leaders of Judah will think to himself: The residents of Jerusalem are my strength through the Lord of Hosts, their God.

And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem[ shall be] my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

Then the leaders of Judah will say to themselves,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem are a means of strength to us through their God, the LORD who rules over all.’

The chieftains of Judah will say in their heart,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Yahweh of Armies their God.’

It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect.

“ So I will strengthen them in the Lord, And they shall walk up and down in His name,” Says the Lord.

For a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, And for strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

I will restore your judges as at the first, And your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.”

All nations surrounded me, But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.They surrounded me, Yes, they surrounded me; But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.They surrounded me like bees; They were quenched like a fire of thorns; For in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the Lord helped me.The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’“ Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish.You shall seek them and not find them— Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing.For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you,‘ Fear not, I will help you.’“ Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you,” says the Lord And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.“ Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, And make the hills like chaff.You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away, And the whirlwind shall scatter them; You shall rejoice in the Lord, And glory in the Holy One of Israel.

“ I will strengthen the house of Judah, And I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, Because I have mercy on them. They shall be as though I had not cast them aside; For I am the Lord their God, And I will hear them.

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle—

Ascribe strength to God; His excellence is over Israel, And His strength is in the clouds.O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!

Your princes are rebellious, And companions of thieves; Everyone loves bribes, And follows after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, Nor does the cause of the widow come before them.

Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, And princes will rule with justice.

For the Lord has poured out on you The spirit of deep sleep, And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers.

Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

The Lord also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the Lord will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel.

then I will cast away the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will cause their captives to return, and will have mercy on them.’”

The land shall be his possession in Israel; and My princes shall no more oppress My people, but they shall give the rest of the land to the house of Israel, according to their tribes.”‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ Enough, O princes of Israel! Remove violence and plundering, execute justice and righteousness, and stop dispossessing My people,” says the Lord GOD.

And He said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Hear the word of the Lord, You rulers of Sodom; Give ear to the law of our God, You people of Gomorrah:

In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place— Jerusalem.

“ Instead of bronze I will bring gold, Instead of iron I will bring silver, Instead of wood, bronze, And instead of stones, iron. I will also make your officers peace, And your magistrates righteousness.

Their nobles shall be from among them, And their governor shall come from their midst; Then I will cause him to draw near, And he shall approach Me; For who is this who pledged his heart to approach Me?’ says the Lord.

My heart is with the rulers of Israel Who offered themselves willingly with the people. Bless the Lord!
