In that day, saith Jehovah, I will smite every horse with terror, and his rider with madness; and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the peoples with blindness.

耶和华说：到那日，我必使一切马匹惊惶，使骑马的癫狂。我必看顾犹大家，使列国的一切马匹瞎眼。

永恆主發神諭說：當那日、我必擊打一切馬匹，使牠們恐慌，擊打其騎兵、使他們瘋狂；但對猶大家、我卻要刮目相待，而對萬族之民的一切馬匹、我卻要擊打、使牠們眼瞎。

耶和華宣告：「到那日，我必擊打所有的馬匹，使牠們恐慌，擊打騎馬的人，使他們瘋狂；我必睜眼看顧猶大家，擊打萬民所有的馬匹，使牠們瞎眼。

耶和華曰、是日我將使諸馬驚駭、乘者顚狂、惟猶大家、我必垂顧之、列邦諸馬、我使之矇瞽、

耶和華曰、當斯時也、我將使異邦之馬、不勝恐懼、目為之盲、乘馬之人、必至顛狂、惟猶大全家、我必眷顧、

主曰、當是日我將使一切馬俱驚駭、使乘之者顛狂、惟猶大族、我必眷顧、使列邦諸馬目盲、

On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness,” declares the Lord.“ I will keep a watchful eye over Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations.

On that day I will fill every horse with panic. I will make every rider crazy,” announces the Lord.“ I will watch over the people of Judah. But I will make all the horses of the nations blind.

On that day, declares the Lord, I will strike every horse with panic, and its rider with madness. But for the sake of the house of Judah I will keep my eyes open, when I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

“ On that day,” says the Lord,“ I will cause every horse to panic and every rider to lose his nerve. I will watch over the people of Judah, but I will blind all the horses of their enemies.

On that day”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness. I will keep a watchful eye on the house of Judah but strike all the horses of the nations with blindness.

On that day,” declares the Lord,“ I will strike every horse with confusion and its rider with insanity. But I will watch over the house of Judah, while I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

On that day”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness. I will keep a watchful eye on the house of Judah but strike all the horses of the nations with blindness.

In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.

In that day,” says the LORD,“ I will strike every horse with confusion and its rider with madness. I will pay close attention to the house of Judah, but will strike all the horses of the nations with blindness.

In that day,” says Yahweh,“ I will strike every horse with terror, and his rider with madness; and I will open my eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.

Jehovah will smite thee with madness, and with blindness, and with astonishment of heart;

Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent, unto the prayer that is made in this place.

that thine eyes may be open toward this house day and night, even toward the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall pray toward this place.

Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.

And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in those camps, as that plague.

Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee at this time, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, while I confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee. Yea, I and my father’s house have sinned:

and I will turn thee about, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords:

Now, O my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent, unto the prayer that is made in this place.

In that day shall Jehovah defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of Jehovah before them.And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent:

And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah will punish the host of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

In that day will I make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and they of Jerusalem shall yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies’ sake.

And they shall be as mighty men, treading down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle; and they shall fight, because Jehovah is with them; and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

And ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Incline thine ear, O Jehovah, and hear; open thine eyes, O Jehovah, and see; and hear all the words of Sennacherib, who hath sent to defy the living God.

that thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place whereof thou hast said, My name shall be there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall pray toward this place.

And I will encamp about my house against the army, that none pass through or return; and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.

The stouthearted are made a spoil, They have slept their sleep; And none of the men of might have found their hands.At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.Thou, even thou, art to be feared; And who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto Jehovah, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
