So I cared for the flock intended for slaughter— the flock that was oppressed. Then I took two shepherd’s staffs and named one Favor and the other Union.

於是我替販賣羣羊的人牧養這定被殺戮的羊羣。我取了兩根棍杖：一根我給叫做「溫和愉快」，一根我給叫做「聯繫和諧」；這樣、我就牧養了羣羊了。

於是，我就牧養這將被殺戮的羊群，就是困苦的羊群。我拿了兩根杖，一根稱為「恩慈」，另一根稱為「聯合」。這樣，我就牧養了羊群。

我則飼此將宰之羊、其羊誠為困苦、遂取二杖、一曰榮美、一曰維繫、而飼斯羊、

先知曰、將殺之羊、甚為可哀、我執二杖、一曰恩寵、一日維繫、而牧斯羊、

先知曰、我遂牧此將殺之羊、斯羊誠困苦、誠困苦或作甚為可哀我取二杖、一稱恩寵、恩寵或作美下同一稱維繫、維繫或作繩下同如是我牧斯羊、

So I shepherded the flock marked for slaughter, particularly the oppressed of the flock. Then I took two staffs and called one Favor and the other Union, and I shepherded the flock.

So I took care of the sheep set apart to be sacrificed. I took special care of those that had been treated badly. Then I got two shepherd’s staffs. I called one of them Favor. I called the other one Union. And I took care of the flock.

So I became the shepherd of the flock doomed to be slaughtered by the sheep traders. And I took two staffs, one I named Favor, the other I named Union. And I tended the sheep.

So I pastured the flock doomed to slaughter, therefore also the afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs: the one I called Favor, and the other I called Union; so I pastured the flock.

So I fed the flock of slaughter, verily the poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.

So I shepherded the flock intended for slaughter, the afflicted of the flock. I took two staffs, calling one Favor and the other Union, and I shepherded the flock.

And I will feed the flock of slaughter,[ even] you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.

So I began to shepherd the flock destined for slaughter, the most afflicted of all the flock. Then I took two staffs, calling one“ Pleasantness” and the other“ Binders,” and I tended the flock.

So I fed the flock of slaughter, especially the oppressed of the flock. I took for myself two staffs. The one I called“ Favor”, and the other I called“ Union”, and I fed the flock.

This is what the Lord my God says:“ Go and care for the flock that is intended for slaughter.

Then I took my other staff, Union, and cut it in two, showing that the bond of unity between Judah and Israel was broken.

He will give justice to the poor and make fair decisions for the exploited. The earth will shake at the force of his word, and one breath from his mouth will destroy the wicked.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.

Those who are left will be the lowly and humble, for it is they who trust in the name of the Lord.

“ Son of man, take a piece of wood and carve on it these words:‘ This represents Judah and its allied tribes.’ Then take another piece and carve these words on it:‘ This represents Ephraim and the northern tribes of Israel.’Now hold them together in your hand as if they were one piece of wood.When your people ask you what your actions mean,say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take Ephraim and the northern tribes and join them to Judah. I will make them one piece of wood in my hand.’“ Then hold out the pieces of wood you have inscribed, so the people can see them.And give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: I will gather the people of Israel from among the nations. I will bring them home to their own land from the places where they have been scattered.I will unify them into one nation on the mountains of Israel. One king will rule them all; no longer will they be divided into two nations or into two kingdoms.They will never again pollute themselves with their idols and vile images and rebellion, for I will save them from their sinful apostasy. I will cleanse them. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God.

But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.

How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe.Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.

Then I said,“ But what can we expect from the poor? They are ignorant. They don’t know the ways of the Lord. They don’t understand God’s laws.So I will go and speak to their leaders. Surely they know the ways of the Lord and understand God’s laws.” But the leaders, too, as one man, had thrown off God’s yoke and broken his chains.

Two thirds of the people in the land will be cut off and die,” says the Lord.“ But one third will be left in the land.I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say,‘ These are my people,’ and they will say,‘ The Lord is our God.’”

Count off every tenth animal from your herds and flocks and set them apart for the Lord as holy.

Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him?

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor.”

I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one— as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.“ I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.

He picked up five smooth stones from a stream and put them into his shepherd’s bag. Then, armed only with his shepherd’s staff and sling, he started across the valley to fight the Philistine.

Since David himself called the Messiah‘ my Lord,’ how can the Messiah be his son?” The large crowd listened to him with great delight.

Then I took my staff called Favor and cut it in two, showing that I had revoked the covenant I had made with all the nations.That was the end of my covenant with them. The suffering flock was watching me, and they knew that the Lord was speaking through my actions.

“ Am I a dog,” he roared at David,“ that you come at me with a stick?” And he cursed David by the names of his gods.

I have other sheep, too, that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock with one shepherd.
