For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith Jehovah; but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbor’s hand, and into the hand of his king; and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.

因此耶和華宣告：「我必不再憐恤這地的居民。看哪，我必把各人交在他的鄰人和他的君王手中！他們將摧毀這地，我必不解救這地的居民脫離他們的手。」

耶和華云、斯土居民、我不復惜之、必付於其鄰與王、彼將擊斯土、我不拯之於其手、

耶和華曰、我不復宥斯土之民、使王公庶民、各相戕伐、殲滅斯邦、我不救援、

主曰、我不復顧惜斯地之居民、使之互相殘殺、又付之於其王之手、必毀滅斯地、我不救之脫於其手、

For I will no longer have pity on the people of the land,” declares the Lord.“ I will give everyone into the hands of their neighbors and their king. They will devastate the land, and I will not rescue anyone from their hands.”

I will no longer have pity on the people in the land,” announces the Lord.“ I will hand all of them over to their neighbors and their king. They will destroy the land. And I will not save anyone from their power.”

For I will no longer have pity on the inhabitants of this land, declares the Lord. Behold, I will cause each of them to fall into the hand of his neighbor, and each into the hand of his king, and they shall crush the land, and I will deliver none from their hand.”

Likewise, I will no longer have pity on the people of the land,” says the Lord.“ I will let them fall into each other’s hands and into the hands of their king. They will turn the land into a wilderness, and I will not rescue them.”

Indeed, I will no longer have compassion on the inhabitants of the land”— this is the LORD’s declaration.“ Instead, I will turn everyone over to his neighbor and his king. They will devastate the land, and I will not rescue it from their hand.”

For I will no longer have compassion for the inhabitants of the land,” declares the Lord;“ but behold, I will let the people fall, each into another’s power and into the power of his king; and they will crush the land, and I will not rescue them from their power.”

And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith Jehovah: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have compassion, that I should not destroy them.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep; who, if he go through, treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and there is none to deliver.

But the king was wroth; and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.

Through the wrath of Jehovah of hosts is the land burnt up; and the people are as the fuel of fire: no man spareth his brother.And one shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh; and they together shall be against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.A man that hath set at nought Moses’ law dieth without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses:of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?For we know him that said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver:

For before those days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in, because of the adversary: for I set all men every one against his neighbor.

for there shall be from henceforth five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.They shall be divided, father against son, and son against father; mother against daughter, and daughter against her mother; mother in law against her daughter in law, and daughter in law against her mother in law.

Then said I, I will not feed you: that which dieth, let it die; and that which is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let them that are left eat every one the flesh of another.

And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way upon their head.

The godly man is perished out of the earth, and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.Their hands are upon that which is evil to do it diligently; the prince asketh, and the judge is ready for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth the evil desire of his soul: thus they weave it together.The best of them is as a brier; the most upright is worse than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen, even thy visitation, is come; now shall be their perplexity.Trust ye not in a neighbor; put ye not confidence in a friend; keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.For the son dishonoreth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter- in- law against her mother- in- law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.But as for me, I will look unto Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

Think not that I came to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law:and a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

And after the threescore and two weeks shall the anointed one be cut off, and shall have nothing: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and even unto the end shall be war; desolations are determined.And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; and upon the wing of abominations shall come one that maketh desolate; and even unto the full end, and that determined, shall wrath be poured out upon the desolate.

and I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms; and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of Abel the righteous unto the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom ye slew between the sanctuary and the altar.Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

They therefore cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him! Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Cæsar.

And then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another.

And now will I uncover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of my hand.

how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard;

And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And Jehovah said unto him, Call her name Lo- ruhamah; for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel, that I should in any wise pardon them.

Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy humiliation shall be in the midst of thee: and thou shalt put away, but shalt not save; and that which thou savest will I give up to the sword.

And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child: and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.

But ye shall be delivered up even by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

shouldest not thou also have had mercy on thy fellow- servant, even as I had mercy on thee?And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due.So shall also my heavenly Father do unto you, if ye forgive not every one his brother from your hearts.

forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved; to fill up their sins always: but the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

For the days shall come upon thee, when thine enemies shall cast up a bank about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,and shall dash thee to the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

For judgment is without mercy to him that hath showed no mercy: mercy glorieth against judgment.

And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor: the child shall behave himself proudly against the old man, and the base against the honorable.

Therefore will I also deal in wrath; mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty; and they that sell them say, Blessed be Jehovah, for I am rich; and their own shepherds pity them not.

For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.Woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! for there shall be great distress upon the land, and wrath unto this people.And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led captive into all the nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers; lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off; the women shall come, and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have compassion upon them, and he that formed them will show them no favor.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from Jehovah shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.

Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
