The LORD also said to me,“ Take the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

耶和华又吩咐我说：“你再取愚昧牧人所用的器具，

耶和华对我说：“你再把愚昧牧人所用的器具拿来，

耶和华对我说：“你再把愚昧牧人所用的器具拿来，

耶和华又对我说：“你再拿起愚昧牧人的器具，

耶和华又对我说：“你去取愚昧牧人的装备来。

耶和華又吩咐我說：「你再取愚昧牧人所用的器具，

耶和華對我說：「你再把愚昧牧人所用的器具拿來，

耶和華對我說：「你再把愚昧牧人所用的器具拿來，

耶和華又對我說：「你再拿起愚昧牧人的器具，

耶和華又對我說：“你去取愚昧牧人的裝備來。

永恆主又吩咐我說：『你再取愚妄牧民者的器具。

耶和華又對我說：「你再拿愚蠢牧人的器具。

耶和華謂我曰、復取愚牧之器、

耶和華告我曰、爾當取愚牧之器、

主諭我曰、爾又取愚牧之器、

Then the Lord said to me,“ Take again the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

The Lord said to me,“ Now pretend to be a foolish shepherd. Get the things you need.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Take once more the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Go again and play the part of a worthless shepherd.

And the Lord said to me,“ Take again for yourself the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

And the Lord said to me,“ Next, take for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd.

And Jehovah said unto me, Take unto thee yet again the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

The Lord also said to me:“ Take the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

Again the LORD said to me,“ Take up once more the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

Yahweh said to me,“ Take for yourself yet again the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

Make the minds of these people dull; deafen their ears and blind their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, understand with their minds, turn back, and be healed.Then I said,“ Until when, Lord?” And he replied: Until cities lie in ruins without inhabitants, houses are without people, the land is ruined and desolate,and the LORD drives the people far away, leaving great emptiness in the land.

Fools! Didn’t he who made the outside make the inside too?

This is what the Lord GOD says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing.

Leave them alone! They are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctified the gold?

Your prophets saw visions for you that were empty and deceptive; they did not reveal your iniquity and so restore your fortunes. They saw pronouncements for you that were empty and misleading.

Like the shame of a thief when he is caught, so the house of Israel has been put to shame. They, their kings, their officials, their priests, and their prophetssay to a tree,“ You are my father,” and to a stone,“ You gave birth to me.” For they have turned their back to me and not their face, yet in their time of disaster they beg,“ Rise up and save us!”
