Then I said to them,“ If it seems good to you, pay me my wages, but if not, forget it.” So they weighed out my payment– thirty pieces of silver.

I told them,“ If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it.” So they paid me thirty pieces of silver.

Then I said to them,“ If it seems right to you, give me my wages; but if not, keep them.” So they weighed my wages, 30 pieces of silver.

And I said unto them, If ye think good, give[ me] my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty[ pieces] of silver.

I said to them,“ If you think it best, give me my wages; and if not, keep them.” So they weighed for my wages thirty pieces of silver.

and said,“ What will you give me to betray him into your hands?” So they set out thirty silver coins for him.

If the ox gores a male servant or a female servant, the owner must pay thirty shekels of silver, and the ox must be stoned.

Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus into their hands.When they heard this, they were delighted and promised to give him money. So Judas began looking for an opportunity to betray him.

So when the Midianite merchants passed by, Joseph’s brothers pulled him out of the cistern and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver. The Ishmaelites then took Joseph to Egypt.

Then Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who was one of the twelve.He went away and discussed with the chief priests and officers of the temple guard how he might betray Jesus, handing him over to them.They were delighted and arranged to give him money.So Judas agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus when no crowd was present.

Ahab said to Naboth,“ Give me your vineyard so I can make a vegetable garden out of it, for it is adjacent to my palace. I will give you an even better vineyard in its place, or if you prefer, I will pay you silver for it.”

And after Judas took the piece of bread, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him,“ What you are about to do, do quickly.”( Now none of those present at the table understood why Jesus said this to Judas.Some thought that, because Judas had the money box, Jesus was telling him to buy whatever they needed for the feast, or to give something to the poor.)Judas took the piece of bread and went out immediately.( Now it was night.)

The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, that he should betray Jesus.

The proposal seemed appropriate to the king and the entire assembly.
