I took my staff Favor, and cut it apart, that I might break my covenant that I had made with all the peoples.

昔我有杖、厥名恩寵、今折斯杖、為毀民約之徵、

我杖稱恩寵者、我遂折之、以示我與列民所立之約將廢、

Then I took my staff called Favor and broke it, revoking the covenant I had made with all the nations.

Then I got my staff called Favor. I broke it. That meant the covenant the Lord had made with all the nations was broken.

And I took my staff Favor, and I broke it, annulling the covenant that I had made with all the peoples.

Then I took my staff called Favor and cut it in two, showing that I had revoked the covenant I had made with all the nations.

Next I took my staff called Favor and cut it in two, annulling the covenant I had made with all the peoples.

And I took my staff Favor and cut it in pieces, to break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.

And I took my staff, Beauty, and cut it in two, that I might break the covenant which I had made with all the peoples.

And I took my staff Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.

Next I took my staff called Favor and cut it in two, annulling the covenant I had made with all the peoples.

And I took my staff,[ even] Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.

Then I took my staff“ Pleasantness” and cut it in two to annul my covenant that I had made with all the people.

So I fed the flock of slaughter, especially the oppressed of the flock. I took for myself two staffs. The one I called“ Favor”, and the other I called“ Union”, and I fed the flock.

You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust.

Do not abhor us, for your name’s sake. Do not disgrace the throne of your glory. Remember, and don’t break your covenant with us.

“ Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh,“ that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which covenant of mine they broke, although I was a husband to them,” says Yahweh.

For finding fault with them, he said,“ Behold, the days come”, says the Lord,“ that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers, in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; for they didn’t continue in my covenant, and I disregarded them,” says the Lord.“ For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel. After those days,” says the Lord;“ I will put my laws into their mind, I will also write them on their heart. I will be their God, and they will be my people.They will not teach every man his fellow citizen, and every man his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for all will know me, from their least to their greatest.For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more.”In that he says,“ A new covenant”, he has made the first old. But that which is becoming old and grows aged is near to vanishing away.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.

After the sixty- two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined.

Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished.

Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands.

for it is testified,“ You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”For there is an annulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness and uselessness( for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.Inasmuch as he was not made priest without the taking of an oath( for they indeed have been made priests without an oath), but he with an oath by him that says of him,“ The Lord swore and will not change his mind,‘ You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.’”By so much, Jesus has become the collateral of a better covenant.

As some were talking about the temple and how it was decorated with beautiful stones and gifts, he said,“ As for these things which you see, the days will come, in which there will not be left here one stone on another that will not be thrown down.”

“‘ For the Lord Yahweh says:“ I will also deal with you as you have done, who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant.Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish to you an everlasting covenant.Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed, when you receive your sisters, your elder sisters and your younger; and I will give them to you for daughters, but not by your covenant.

‘ Speak to the house of Israel,“ The Lord Yahweh says:‘ Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.

and set up false witnesses who said,“ This man never stops speaking blasphemous words against this holy place and the law.For we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place, and will change the customs which Moses delivered to us.”

For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brothers’ sake, my relatives according to the fleshwho are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises;of whom are the fathers, and from whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen.

As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein. Therefore I have made it to them as an unclean thing.I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a plunder; and they will profane it.I will also turn my face from them, and they will profane my secret place. Robbers will enter into it, and profane it.

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring. He doesn’t say,“ To descendants”, as of many, but as of one,“ To your offspring”, which is Christ.Now I say this: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God in Christ, the law, which came four hundred thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.

“ Therefore Yahweh, the God of Israel, says,‘ I said indeed that your house and the house of your father should walk before me forever.’ But now Yahweh says,‘ Far be it from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me will be cursed.

He said,“ Call his name Lo- Ammi; for you are not my people, and I will not be yours.
