“要扩张你帐篷所在的地方，伸展你住所的幔帐，不要止住！要放长你的绳子，坚固你的橛子！因为你要左右扩展，你的后裔必占有列国为继业，又在荒凉的城邑居住。

到那日，主必第二次伸手收回他子民中的余剩者，就是在亚述、埃及、巴特罗、库实、以拦、示拿、哈马和众海岛所残留的人。他必向列国竖起旗帜，招聚被驱散的以色列人，又从地的四角聚集被分散的犹大人。以法莲的嫉妒必消失，犹大的敌视必被剪除；以法莲必不再嫉妒犹大，犹大也不再敌视以法莲。他们将向西俯冲到非利士坡地，又一同掠夺东方人；他们伸手占有以东和摩押，亚扪人也将臣服于他们。耶和华将使埃及的海湾枯干，他在大河之上挥手发出暴热的风，把它打破为七条溪流，使人可以穿着鞋走过去。必有一条从亚述而来的大道，为他子民中残留的余剩者所预备，就像以色列人从埃及地上来之日，为他们所预备的那样。

到那日，必有一条大道从埃及通往亚述；亚述人到埃及来，埃及人也到亚述去；埃及人与亚述人一同敬拜耶和华。到那日，以色列将与埃及、亚述一同，三者都成为地上的祝福；万军之耶和华祝福他们，说：“埃及我的百姓，亚述我手的作为，以色列我的继业，都是蒙福的！”

至于你的废墟、凄凉之处、遭毁坏之地，现在作居住用必显得太窄小；而那些吞灭你的人必远离你。你居丧时所生的儿女还要说给你听：‘这地方太窄小了，请你给我们地方居住！’那时你心里必说：‘我既丧子，又不能生育，我被掳、被放逐，究竟是谁给我生了这些孩子呢？又是谁把这些孩子养大的呢？看哪！我被留下孤身一人，这些孩子究竟是从哪里来的呢？’”

至小的必成为族群，至弱的必成为强国。时候一到，我耶和华必速速成就这事。

到那日，耶和华要从幼发拉底河到埃及溪谷，打收谷物——以色列子孙哪，你们必被一个一个捡拾回来！到那日，必有大号角吹响，那些在亚述地快要灭亡的，以及那些被驱赶到埃及地的都要来，在耶路撒冷的圣山敬拜耶和华。
