During the night I had a vision, and there before me was a man mounted on a red horse. He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown and white horses.

I will put cedar, acacia, myrtle, and oil trees in the wilderness. I will set cypress trees, pine, and box trees together in the desert;

Instead of the thorn the cypress tree will come up; and instead of the brier the myrtle tree will come up. It will make a name for Yahweh, for an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.”

“ Awake, sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is close to me,” says Yahweh of Armies.“ Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones.

Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? Who is this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength?“ It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”Why is your clothing red, and your garments like him who treads in the wine vat?“ I have trodden the wine press alone. Of the peoples, no one was with me. Yes, I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath. Their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.

In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men,

Strap your sword on your thigh, mighty one: your splendor and your majesty.In your majesty ride on victoriously on behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness. Let your right hand display awesome deeds.

Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

But God came to Abimelech in a dream of the night, and said to him,“ Behold, you are a dead man, because of the woman whom you have taken; for she is a man’s wife.”

Daniel spoke and said,“ I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the sky broke out on the great sea.

“ To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write:“ He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lamp stands says these things:

In Gibeon, Yahweh appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said,“ Ask for what I should give you.”

My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to pasture his flock in the gardens, and to gather lilies.

My beloved is mine, and I am his. He browses among the lilies.
