During the night I had a vision, and there before me was a man mounted on a red horse. He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown and white horses.

“我夜间观看，见一人骑着红马，站在洼地番石榴树中间。在他身后又有红马、黄马，和白马。”

我於夜觀異象、見有人乘紅馬、立於谷谷或作窪地之岡拈樹間、其後有紅馬紫紫或作黃馬白馬、

I had a vision at night. I saw a man sitting on a red horse. He was standing among the myrtle trees in a valley. Behind him were red, brown and white horses.

“ I saw in the night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse! He was standing among the myrtle trees in the glen, and behind him were red, sorrel, and white horses.

In a vision during the night, I saw a man sitting on a red horse that was standing among some myrtle trees in a small valley. Behind him were riders on red, brown, and white horses.

I looked out in the night and saw a man riding on a chestnut horse. He was standing among the myrtle trees in the valley. Behind him were chestnut, brown, and white horses.

I saw at night, and behold, a man was riding on a red horse, and he was standing among the myrtle trees which were in the ravine, with red, sorrel, and white horses behind him.

Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.

The first chariot had red horses, the second black,the third white, and the fourth dappled— all of them powerful.I asked the angel who was speaking to me,“ What are these, my lord?”The angel answered me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world.The one with the black horses is going toward the north country, the one with the white horses toward the west, and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.”When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said,“ Go throughout the earth!” So they went throughout the earth.

I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set junipers in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together,

Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord’s renown, for an everlasting sign, that will endure forever.”

“ Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!” declares the Lord Almighty.“ Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones.

Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah, with his garments stained crimson? Who is this, robed in splendor, striding forward in the greatness of his strength?“ It is I, proclaiming victory, mighty to save.”Why are your garments red, like those of one treading the winepress?“ I have trodden the winepress alone; from the nations no one was with me. I trampled them in my anger and trod them down in my wrath; their blood spattered my garments, and I stained all my clothing.It was for me the day of vengeance; the year for me to redeem had come.

Amid disquieting dreams in the night, when deep sleep falls on people,

Gird your sword on your side, you mighty one; clothe yourself with splendor and majesty.In your majesty ride forth victoriously in the cause of truth, humility and justice; let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.

During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven

For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy:“ I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.

But God came to Abimelek in a dream one night and said to him,“ You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken; she is a married woman.”

Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked,“ Are you for us or for our enemies?”

“ In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.

Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army.But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Daniel said:“ In my vision at night I looked, and there before me were the four winds of heaven churning up the great sea.

“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said,“ Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”

My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to browse in the gardens and to gather lilies.

My beloved is mine and I am his; he browses among the lilies.
