I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that[ were] in the bottom; and behind him[ were there] red horses, speckled, and white.

During the night I had a vision, and there before me was a man mounted on a red horse. He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown and white horses.

In the first chariot[ were] red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What[ are] these, my lord?And the angel answered and said unto me, These[ are] the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.The black horses which[ are] therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country.And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.

I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree,[ and] the pine, and the box tree together:

Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign[ that] shall not be cut off.

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man[ that is] my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Who[ is] this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this[ that is] glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.Wherefore[ art thou] red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people[ there was] none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.For the day of vengeance[ is] in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,

Gird thy sword upon[ thy] thigh, O[ most] mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness[ and] righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name[ is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy[ place], with him also[ that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou[ art but] a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she[ is] a man’s wife.

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him,[ Art] thou for us, or for our adversaries?

Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.

My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.

My beloved[ is] mine, and I[ am] his: he feedeth among the lilies.
