Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained,“ They are the ones the Lord has sent to go throughout the earth.”

那站在桃金孃樹中間的人應聲地說：「這些就是奉永恆主差遣在地上來回巡邏的。」

那站在桃金娘樹中間的人回應說：「這些是耶和華派遣去遍地巡行的。」

立於岡拈樹間者曰、此乃耶和華所遣、遍遊大地者也、

立於岡拈樹間者曰、此乃耶和華所遣、遍歷塵寰。

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees spoke. He said,“ They are the messengers the Lord has sent out. He told them to go all through the earth.”

So the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered,‘ These are they whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.’

The rider standing among the myrtle trees then explained,“ They are the ones the Lord has sent out to patrol the earth.”

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained,“ They are the ones the LORD has sent to patrol the earth.”

And the man who was standing among the myrtle trees responded and said,“ These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.”

And the man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said,“ These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to walk to and fro throughout the earth.”

And the man that stood among the myrtle- trees answered and said, These are they whom Jehovah hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained,“ They are the ones the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.”

And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These[ are they] whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees spoke up and said,“ These are the ones whom the LORD has sent to walk about on the earth.”

The man who stood among the myrtle trees answered,“ They are the ones Yahweh has sent to go back and forth through the earth.”

And they reported to the angel of the Lord who was standing among the myrtle trees,“ We have gone throughout the earth and found the whole world at rest and in peace.”

The angel answered me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world.The one with the black horses is going toward the north country, the one with the white horses toward the west, and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.”When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said,“ Go throughout the earth!” So they went throughout the earth.Then he called to me,“ Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit rest in the land of the north.”

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

On another day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them to present himself before him.And the Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord,“ From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

“ Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?”

The Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord,“ From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

During the night I had a vision, and there before me was a man mounted on a red horse. He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown and white horses.

In the womb he grasped his brother’s heel; as a man he struggled with God.He struggled with the angel and overcame him; he wept and begged for his favor. He found him at Bethel and talked with him there—the Lord God Almighty, the Lord is his name!

and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was human,but each of them had four faces and four wings.Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze.Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. All four of them had faces and wings,and the wings of one touched the wings of another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved.Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a human being, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle.Such were their faces. They each had two wings spreading out upward, each wing touching that of the creature on either side; and each had two other wings covering its body.Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went.The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it.The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning.

So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak.When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man.Then the man said,“ Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”The man asked him,“ What is your name?”“ Jacob,” he answered.Then the man said,“ Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”Jacob said,“ Please tell me your name.” But he replied,“ Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there.So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying,“ It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, and he was limping because of his hip.

“ Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!” declares the Lord Almighty.“ Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones.

Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.
