Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

He has helped His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy,

Jesus answered and said to him,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”Nicodemus said to Him,“ How can a man be born when he is old? Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

Do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For in Your sight no one living is righteous.

Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;

But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

How then can man be righteous before God? Or how can he be pure who is born of a woman?

Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say,“ And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one,“ And to your Seed,” who is Christ.And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect.For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.

and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

( for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls),

Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.

knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant,

And His mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation.

and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,

But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,

who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

I will declare your righteousness And your works, For they will not profit you.

What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith;

So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.

But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,

if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; For You render to each one according to his work.

So he answered and said,“‘ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and‘ your neighbor as yourself.’”And He said to him,“ You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus,“ And who is my neighbor?”

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.

O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption.

“ What is man, that he could be pure? And he who is born of a woman, that he could be righteous?

Though I were righteous, my own mouth would condemn me; Though I were blameless, it would prove me perverse.
