If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them.

分门结党的人，警戒过一两次，就要弃绝他。

对于制造分裂的人，警告过一两次后，要和他断绝来往。

对那制造分裂的人，在第一次、第二次的警戒以后，就要弃绝他，

分門結黨的人，警戒過一兩次，就要棄絕他。

好分宗派的人、過了第一第二次警戒以後、你要拒絕交往，

對那製造分裂的人，在第一次、第二次的警戒以後，就要棄絕他，

彼樹黨者、既警之一而再、則擯之、

從異端者、既再三警惕矣、不聽、擯之可也、

從異端者、既警之一次二次、若不聽則絕之、

人有分門結黨、經一再勸戒而不悛者、絕之可也，

Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them.

Warn anyone who tries to get believers to separate from one another. Warn that person more than once. After that, have nothing to do with them.

As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him,

Reject a divisive person after a first and second warning.

A factious man after a first and second admonition refuse;

A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

Reject a divisive person after one or two warnings.

Avoid a factious man after a first and second warning,

And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.

They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

“ If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back.But if you are unsuccessful, take one or two others with you and go back again, so that everything you say may be confirmed by two or three witnesses.If the person still refuses to listen, take your case to the church. Then if he or she won’t accept the church’s decision, treat that person as a pagan or a corrupt tax collector.

Take note of those who refuse to obey what we say in this letter. Stay away from them so they will be ashamed.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received from us.

But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves.

I have already warned those who had been sinning when I was there on my second visit. Now I again warn them and all others, just as I did before, that next time I will not spare them.

But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that you who have God’s approval will be recognized!

Then you will be like a fresh batch of dough made without yeast, which is what you really are. Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.So let us celebrate the festival, not with the old bread of wickedness and evil, but with the new bread of sincerity and truth.When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin.But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that.I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people.It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning.God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say,“ You must remove the evil person from among you.”

I just wish that those troublemakers who want to mutilate you by circumcision would mutilate themselves.
