必廉節貞靜、處內懿行、毋違夫子、免人謗讟上帝道、

自制、貞潔、守家、善良、順服其夫、免天主之道被人毀謗、

嫻靜貞潔、躬操井臼、待人和藹、毋違夫子、庶幾天主聖教、不致為人詬病。

to be self- controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

The younger women must control themselves and be pure. They must take good care of their homes. They must be kind. They must follow the lead of their husbands. Then no one will be able to speak evil things against God’s word.

to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.

to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.

to be sober- minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed:

to be self-controlled, pure, homemakers, kind, and submissive to their husbands, so that God’s message will not be slandered.

to be self- controlled, pure, fulfilling their duties at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the message of God may not be discredited.

孰得賢婦、價愈珍珠、其夫恃之、得利無匱、終婦之身、有益無損、求毧與枲、樂於操作、譬彼商舟、遠運食物、未明而起、供食家人、頒工婢女、度田畝而購之、以手所獲、植葡萄園、以力束腰、而健其臂、知貿易之獲利、其燈終夜不熄、手執績軸、掌持紡具、舒手以濟貧、舉手以振困、不慮家人遇雪、因其皆衣紫衣、自製華毯、服枲與絳、其夫與邑中長老、同坐邑門、為眾所識、彼製枲衣而鬻之、售紳於商賈、勢力威儀為其服、念及將來則喜笑、智慧發於口、慈訓達於舌、勤家政、不素餐、其子起而祝之、其夫讚之、曰、賢女甚多、惟爾為冠、美姿屬偽、豔色為虛、惟寅畏耶和華之婦、必得稱揚、以其操作之果效歸之、願其工作於邑門榮之、

婦宜服夫、是乃宗主所宜也、

有為善之稱、曾育子女、館遠人、濯聖徒足、濟苦難、務善工、

為婦者、宜服爾夫、或夫不從道、致外乎道、由婦所行、亦可得之、蓋見爾貞潔之行及敬畏也、爾之飾、毋在外、如辮髮、佩金、衣美衣、乃在溫柔恬靜之性、隱之於心、不可壞者、此在上帝前為至寶、古昔聖女、上帝是望、亦以是自飾、服於其夫、

習於暇逸、優游鄰舍、不第暇逸、亦妄誕滋事、言所不當言、故我欲其適人、生子宜家、不予敵以訾議之資、

然爾曹各宜愛婦如己、婦亦宜敬畏其夫、

謂婦曰、我必增爾懷妊之苦、產育劬勞、爾必戀夫、夫必轄爾、

凡服軛之奴、當視其主為可尊、免上帝之名與教受謗也、

約帕有女徒、大比大者、譯即多加、廣行善事、及施濟、

我欲爾知、男之首、基督也、女之首、男也、基督之首、上帝也、

婦當服夫、如服主然、蓋夫為婦首、如基督為教會首、亦為全體之救者、教會服基督、婦凡事服夫、亦宜如是、

宜靜默學道、諸凡順服、我不許婦女施教、擅權於夫、惟宜靜默、

喧呶不羈、其足弗安於室、

然爾行此、使耶和華之敵得毀謗之由、故爾所生之子必死、

其人曰、爾妻撒拉何在、曰、在幕、

上帝之名、緣爾受謗於異邦、如經所載矣、

彼得遂起同往、既至、引之登樓、諸嫠立於其側而哭、且以多加生時所製衣服示之、

上帝歟、敵人詆毀、將至何時、仇人褻瀆爾名、豈至永久乎、

曰、撒萊婢夏甲、適從何來、茲欲何往、曰、逃避主母撒萊、曰、宜歸主母、服於其下、

婦女在會、宜緘默勿言、務宜承順、如律所云、
