Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good,

又劝老年妇人，举止行动要恭敬，不说谗言，不给酒作奴仆，用善道教训人，

又要劝年长的妇女在操守上恭正，不说谗言，不作酒的奴隶，用善道教导人，

又要劝年长的妇女在操守上恭正，不说谗言，不作酒的奴隶，用善道教导人，

劝年长的妇女要过敬虔的生活，不说长道短，不做酒的奴隶，要以身作则。

照样，劝年老的妇女行为要敬虔，不说谗言，不被酒奴役，用善道教导人，

同样，年长的妇女在举止行为上要合乎圣洁、不恶意控告、不成为酒的奴隶，要教导美好的事；

又勸老年婦人，舉止行動要恭敬，不說讒言，不給酒作奴僕，用善道教訓人，

又要勸年長的婦女在操守上恭正，不說讒言，不作酒的奴隸，用善道教導人，

又要勸年長的婦女在操守上恭正，不說讒言，不作酒的奴隸，用善道教導人，

勸老年婦人也要這樣：在行動舉止上要有聖役上的恭敬，不說讒言，也不做酒奴，要用好榜樣教導人，

同樣，年長的婦女在舉止行為上要合乎聖潔、不惡意控告、不成為酒的奴隸，要教導美好的事；

使老婦之舉止端肅、毋讒毀、毋役於酒、以善訓人、

老婦所為、亦當敬虔、勿謠諑、勿嗜酒、宜以善教人、

老婦所為、亦當合乎聖虔、勿讒毀、勿嗜酒、以善教人、

年長婦女、舉止亦宜溫恭有禮、毋道人短、或沉湎於酒、務須循循善誘、

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.

In the same way, teach the older women to lead a holy life. They must not tell lies about others. They must not let wine control them. Instead, they must teach what is good.

Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good.

In the same way, older women are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not slaves to excessive drinking. They are to teach what is good,

Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good,

the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things—

that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;

In the same way, older women are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not addicted to much wine. They are to teach what is good,

The aged women likewise, that[ they be] in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

Older women likewise are to exhibit behavior fitting for those who are holy, not slandering, not slaves to excessive drinking, but teaching what is good.

and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good,

and so train the young women to love their husbands and children,

Their wives likewise must be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, faithful in all things.

Do not let your adorning be external— the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear—but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands,

likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire,but with what is proper for women who profess godliness— with good works.

For an overseer, as God’s steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain,

Deacons likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain.

that you may welcome her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a patron of many and of myself as well.

She who is truly a widow, left all alone, has set her hope on God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day,but she who is self-indulgent is dead even while she lives.Command these things as well, so that they may be without reproach.But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.Let a widow be enrolled if she is not less than sixty years of age, having been the wife of one husband,and having a reputation for good works: if she has brought up children, has shown hospitality, has washed the feet of the saints, has cared for the afflicted, and has devoted herself to every good work.

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food,

But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.

But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints.

( No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.)
