在潔淨的人，凡物都潔淨；在污穢不信的人，甚麼都不潔淨，連心地和天良也都污穢了。

在洁净的人，凡物都洁净；在污秽不信的人，什么都不洁净，连心地和天良也都污秽了。

以食物論潔者食之、無不潔、不信不潔者食之、無一潔、蓋其心志已浼矣、

凡物於潔者無有不潔、於見污及不信者、一無所潔、因其心其志亦已污矣、

由潔者視之、凡物皆潔；若由不潔不信者視之、則萬物皆污、實則其心地自不淨耳。

To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

To people who are pure, all things are pure. But to those who have twisted minds and don’t believe, nothing is pure. In fact, their minds and their sense of what is right and wrong are twisted.

To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled.

我憑着主耶穌確知深信，凡物本來沒有不潔淨的；惟獨人以為不潔淨的，在他就不潔淨了。

不可因食物毀壞神的工程。凡物固然潔淨，但有人因食物叫人跌倒，就是他的罪了。

凡事都可行，但不都有益處。凡事都可行，但不都造就人。

他們禁止嫁娶，又禁戒食物，就是神所造、叫那信而明白真道的人感謝着領受的。凡神所造的物都是好的，若感謝着領受，就沒有一樣可棄的，

若有疑心而吃的，就必有罪，因為他吃不是出於信心。凡不出於信心的都是罪。

凡事我都可行，但不都有益處。凡事我都可行，但無論哪一件，我總不受它的轄制。食物是為肚腹，肚腹是為食物；但神要叫這兩樣都廢壞。身子不是為淫亂，乃是為主；主也是為身子。

主對他說：「如今你們法利賽人洗淨杯盤的外面，你們裏面卻滿了勒索和邪惡。無知的人哪，造外面的，不也造裏面嗎？只要把裏面的施捨給人，凡物於你們就都潔淨了。

惟獨出口的，是從心裏發出來的，這才污穢人。

所以，你們或吃或喝，無論做甚麼，都要為榮耀神而行。

第二次有聲音向他說：「神所潔淨的，你不可當作俗物。」

但人不都有這等知識。有人到如今因拜慣了偶像，就以為所吃的是祭偶像之物。他們的良心既然軟弱，也就污穢了。

凡市上所賣的，你們只管吃，不要為良心的緣故問甚麼話，

哈該又說：「若有人因摸死屍染了污穢，然後挨着這些物的哪一樣，這物算污穢嗎？」祭司說：「必算污穢。」

何況基督藉着永遠的靈，將自己無瑕無疵獻給神，他的血豈不更能洗淨你們的心，除去你們的死行，使你們事奉那永生神嗎？

並我們心中天良的虧欠已經灑去，身體用清水洗淨了，就當存着誠心和充足的信心來到神面前；

並那壞了心術、失喪真理之人的爭競。他們以敬虔為得利的門路。

「你要宣告國內的眾民和祭司，說：『你們這七十年，在五月、七月禁食悲哀，豈是絲毫向我禁食嗎？你們吃喝，不是為自己吃，為自己喝嗎？

惡人發達，眼高心傲，這乃是罪。

所以，無論何人，不按理吃主的餅，喝主的杯，就是干犯主的身、主的血了。人應當自己省察，然後吃這餅、喝這杯。因為人吃喝，若不分辨是主的身體，就是吃喝自己的罪了。
