对洁净的人而言，一切都是洁净的；对污秽不信的人而言，什么都不洁净，连他们的思想和良心都是污秽的。

由潔者視之、凡物皆潔；若由不潔不信者視之、則萬物皆污、實則其心地自不淨耳。

To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

我知道并靠着主耶稣深信，没有什么是不洁净的，但若有人以为某物不洁净，那物对他来说就不洁净。

不可因食物的问题而破坏上帝的工作。所有的食物固然都是洁净的，但人若因所吃的食物绊倒别人，就有罪了。

凡事我都可以做，但并非事事都有益处；凡事我都可以行，但并非事事都造就人。

禁止人结婚和吃某些食物。其实那些食物是上帝创造的，为了让相信并且明白真理的人存感谢的心领受。上帝所造的一切都是美好的，若以感恩的心去领受，就无需任何禁忌，

人如果心里疑惑，却仍然吃，就有罪了，因为他不是凭信心吃。凡不凭信心去做的，就是犯罪。

凡事我都可以做，但并非事事都有益处；凡事我都可以做，但我不受任何事的辖制。食物是为了肚腹，肚腹也是为了食物，但将来上帝要把这两样都废弃。身体不是用来行淫的，而是为了主，主也是为了身体。

主对他说：“你们法利赛人洗净杯盘的外面，你们里面却充满了贪婪和邪恶。愚蠢的人啊，人里外不都是上帝所创造的吗？只要你们发自内心地去施舍，一切对你们都是洁净的。

可是，从口中出来的乃是发自内心，会使人污秽。

所以，你们或吃或喝，无论做什么，都要为上帝的荣耀而做。

那声音又一次对他说：“上帝已经洁净的，你不可再称之为不洁净。”

不过，并不是所有的人都有这种知识。有些人因为以前拜惯了偶像，现在吃到某些食物就觉得是祭过偶像的，因而良心不安，觉得自己被玷污了。

市场上卖的肉，你们都可以吃，不必为良心的缘故而询问什么，

哈该又说：“如果因碰过尸体而变得不洁净的人接触这些食物，这些食物会变得不洁净吗？”祭司答道：“会变得不洁净。”

更何况基督借着永恒的灵把自己毫无瑕疵地献给上帝呢？祂的血岂不更能洗净我们的良心，使我们脱离导致灭亡的行为，以便事奉永活的上帝吗？

祂洁净了我们被罪困扰的良心，用清水洗净了我们的身体。因此，我们要信心十足、真诚地到上帝面前。

使那些思想败坏、失去真理的人争论不休，甚至把敬虔当作生财之道。

“你要对境内的民众和祭司说，‘七十年来，你们在五月和七月禁食、哀伤，难道真的是为了我吗？你们吃喝，难道不是为自己吃、为自己喝吗？

高傲的眼，狂妄的心，恶人的灯，都是罪恶。

因此，无论是谁，若以不正确的心态吃主的饼、喝主的杯，就是得罪主的身体和主的血。所以，人要先自我省察，才可以吃这饼喝这杯。因为守圣餐的时候，若有人随便吃喝，忘记了这是主的身体，他就是自招审判。
