“ I wish you were like a brother to me. I wish my mother’s breasts had nursed you. Then if I found you outside, I could kiss you. No one would look down on me.

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy king cometh unto thee; he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.

And coming up at that very hour she gave thanks unto God, and spake of him to all them that were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.

that ye may suck and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.For thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream: and ye shall suck thereof; ye shall be borne upon the side, and shall be dandled upon the knees.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

and I will shake all nations; and the precious things of all nations shall come; and I will fill this house with glory, saith Jehovah of hosts.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; Forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house:So will the king desire thy beauty; For he is thy lord; and reverence thou him.

For Jehovah hath built up Zion; He hath appeared in his glory.He hath regarded the prayer of the destitute, And hath not despised their prayer.

Behold, I send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant, whom ye desire, behold, he cometh, saith Jehovah of hosts.

And the sons of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of Jehovah, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us( and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

And turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:for I say unto you, that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.

else must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once at the end of the ages hath he been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this cometh judgment;so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.

and the base things of the world, and the things that are despised, did God choose, yea and the things that are not, that he might bring to nought the things that are:

He therefore answered, Whether he is a sinner, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.They said therefore unto him, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?He answered them, I told you even now, and ye did not hear; wherefore would ye hear it again? would ye also become his disciples?And they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are disciples of Moses.We know that God hath spoken unto Moses: but as for this man, we know not whence he is.The man answered and said unto them, Why, herein is the marvel, that ye know not whence he is, and yet he opened mine eyes.We know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and do his will, him he heareth.Since the world began it was never heard that any one opened the eyes of a man born blind.If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and finding him, he said, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?He answered and said, And who is he, Lord, that I may believe on him?Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and he it is that speaketh with thee.And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and goeth unto God,

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

The officers answered, Never man so spake.The Pharisees therefore answered them, Are ye also led astray?Hath any of the rulers believed on him, or of the Pharisees?But this multitude that knoweth not the law are accursed.Nicodemus saith unto them( he that came to him before, being one of them),Doth our law judge a man, except it first hear from himself and know what he doeth?They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and see that out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

And I say unto you, Every one who shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, even the Son of man, who is in heaven.

And he spake also this parable unto certain who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and set all others at nought:

But Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.For ye have the poor always with you, and whensoever ye will ye can do them good: but me ye have not always.She hath done what she could; she hath anointed my body beforehand for the burying.And verily I say unto you, Wheresoever the gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, that also which this woman hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

But we behold him who hath been made a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for every man.For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.For both he that sanctifieth and they that are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, In the midst of the congregation will I sing thy praise.And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold, I and the children whom God hath given me.Since then the children are sharers in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death he might bring to nought him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way, For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all they that take refuge in him.

for we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh:

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; He who was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the spirit, Seen of angels, Preached among the nations, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

Thou gavest me no kiss: but she, since the time I came in, hath not ceased to kiss my feet.My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but she hath anointed my feet with ointment.Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth; For thy love is better than wine.

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in his own glory, and the glory of the Father, and of the holy angels.

Howbeit what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ,

But far be it from me to glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world hath been crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

I came out from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go unto the Father.

Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I came forth and am come from God; for neither have I come of myself, but he sent me.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.

He that heareth you heareth me; and he that rejecteth you rejecteth me; and he that rejecteth me rejecteth him that sent me.

And there came a poor widow, and she cast in two mites, which make a farthing.And he called unto him his disciples, and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, This poor widow cast in more than all they that are casting into the treasury:for they all did cast in of their superfluity; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

And it had been revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.And he came in the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, that they might do concerning him after the custom of the law,then he received him into his arms, and blessed God, and said,Now lettest thou thy servant depart, Lord, According to thy word, in peace;For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,Which thou hast prepared before the face of all peoples;A light for revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of thy people Israel.
