Turn your eyes away from me. They overpower me. Your hair flows like a flock of black goats coming down from the hills of Gilead.

Turn away your eyes from me, for they overwhelm me— Your hair is like a flock of goats leaping down the slopes of Gilead.

Turn your eyes away from me, for they captivate me. Your hair is like a flock of goats streaming down from Gilead.

Turn your eyes away from me, For they have confused me; Your hair is like a flock of goats That have descended from Gilead.

Turn away thine eyes from me, For they have overcome me. Thy hair is as a flock of goats, That lie along the side of Gilead.

And she said,“ Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”Then Jesus answered and said to her,“ O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

THE BELOVED: Behold, you are fair, my love! Behold, you are fair! You have dove’s eyes behind your veil. Your hair is like a flock of goats, Going down from Mount Gilead.Your teeth are like a flock of shorn sheep Which have come up from the washing, Every one of which bears twins, And none is barren among them.Your lips are like a strand of scarlet, And your mouth is lovely. Your temples behind your veil Are like a piece of pomegranate.

Now therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them. And I will make of you a great nation.”
