The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God.They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.

THE SHULAMITE: My beloved has gone to his garden, To the beds of spices, To feed his flock in the gardens, And to gather lilies.

And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Then after some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us now go back and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they are doing.”

A garden enclosed Is my sister, my spouse, A spring shut up, A fountain sealed.Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates With pleasant fruits, Fragrant henna with spikenard,Spikenard and saffron, Calamus and cinnamon, With all trees of frankincense, Myrrh and aloes, With all the chief spices—A fountain of gardens, A well of living waters, And streams from Lebanon.

THE BELOVED: I have come to my garden, my sister, my spouse; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk.( TO HIS FRIENDS): Eat, O friends! Drink, yes, drink deeply, O beloved ones!

Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard,‘ Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
