他把园子的泥土挖松了，捡去石头，栽种了上好的葡萄树；在园中建造了一座守望楼，又凿了一个榨酒池。他期望结出好葡萄，却结出野葡萄。耶路撒冷的居民和犹大人哪！现在请你们在我与我的葡萄园之间断定是非吧！我为我的葡萄园所作的以外，还有什么要作的呢？我期望它结出好葡萄，它为什么倒结出野葡萄呢？

义人必像棕树一样繁茂，像黎巴嫩的香柏树一样高耸。他们栽在耶和华的殿中，在我们神的院子里繁茂生长。他们年老的时候仍要结果子，经常保持茂盛青翠，好显明耶和华是正直的；他是我的磐石，在他里面没有不义。

他远远看见一棵长满了叶子的无花果树，就走过去，看看是否可以在树上找到什么。到了树下，除了叶子什么也找不着，因为这不是收无花果的时候。

我的良人下到自己的园中，下到香花畦那里，在园内细赏，采摘百合花。

耶和华神使各样的树从地上长起来，能悦人的眼目，也好作食物。园子中间又有生命树，和知善恶树。

过了一些时候，保罗对巴拿巴说：“我们要回到我们传过主道的各城，探望弟兄们，好知道他们的情形怎么样。”

我的妹妹，我的新妇，是上了闩的园子，是上了锁的水井，是封闭了的泉源。你所栽种的是一所石榴园，有极美的果子，有凤仙花和哪哒树。有哪哒和番红花，菖蒲和肉桂，以及各种乳香树、没药和沉香，与各样精选的香料。你是园中的泉源，是活水的井，是从黎巴嫩山流下来的溪水。

我的妹妹，我的新妇啊！我进了我的园中；我采了我的没药与香料；我吃了我的蜂房与蜂蜜；我喝了我的酒和奶。朋友们！你们要开怀吃喝；亲爱的啊！你们要不醉无归。

他对管园的说：‘你看，这三年，我来到这棵无花果树那里找果子，却找不到，把它砍了吧！何必白占地土呢？’

不是你们拣选了我，而是我拣选了你们，并且分派你们去结果子，就是结常存的果子，使你们奉我的名，无论向父求什么，他必定赐给你们。
