Where has your beloved gone, most beautiful of women? Which way did your beloved turn, that we may look for him with you?

“ You are the most beautiful woman of all. Where has the one who loves you gone? Which way did he turn? We’ll help you look for him.”

其婢曰、姣美之姝、如爾不識其所、以爾之羊置帷幕間、可踵群羊之跡、自能遇之。

諸婢曰、嬌美之姝爾之夫子、比他人之夫子、何以愈乎。爾乃告我若此。

惟一愛妃、美麗若鴿、德無不備、厥母生之、眷愛特甚、嬪妃侍女、見則頌讚、曰、艷若晨光、朗耀如月、輝煌如日、威儀具備、若張幟之軍。

路得曰、勿使我離爾、不與爾偕、汝所往我亦往、汝所居我亦居、汝民亦為我民、汝上帝亦為我上帝、汝所沒之處、我亦死於彼、葬於彼、我惟至死則可相離、我不若是、願耶和華降罰。

門既闢、不見夫子、我思其言、魂不附體、求之弗得、呼之莫應。

爾為我先導、我步爾後塵、遂入宮闈、予甚悅爾、爾眷愛之情、愈於酒醴、而人之戀愛爾者、亦其宜也。

良人曰、愛妃有殊色、譬諸得撒、有麗容、譬諸耶路撒冷、有威儀、譬諸張幟之軍。

以色列族遭難之時、惟爾是望、得爾拯救、今爾不眷顧余、自視若旅人、偶過斯土、暫留一宿者然、曷故。

爾至此、為以色列族之上帝耶和華所覆翼、願耶和華報施爾、大賚爾。

爾曹雅各之家、盍與我偕往、遵耶和華光明之道。

良人曰、愛妃在群女間、若荊棘叢中有百合花焉。

全會與聞者咸大懼、○使徒於民間廣行異跡奇事、信者一心集所羅門之廊、餘無敢親之者、然眾民敬畏之、男女信主者益廣、

彼此相語、莫若速往、籲萬有之主耶和華、而求其恩、我亦偕往、強大之邦、眾多之民、將詣耶路撒冷、籲萬有之主耶和華、而求其恩。萬有之主耶和華曰、當是之日、列國中十人、將執猶大族一人之衿、曰、我聞上帝祐爾、故欲與爾偕行。
