“ You are the most beautiful woman of all. How is the one you love better than others? How is he better than anyone else? Why do you ask us to make you this promise?”

Why is your lover better than all others, O woman of rare beauty? What makes your lover so special that we must promise this?

How is your beloved better than another beloved, you fairest among women? How is your beloved better than another beloved, that you do so adjure us?

If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents.

Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee.

My dove, my undefiled is[ but] one; she[ is] the[ only] one of her mother, she[ is] the choice[ one] of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her;[ yea], the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.Who[ is] she[ that] looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun,[ and] terrible as[ an army] with banners?

The king’s daughter[ is] all glorious within: her clothing[ is] of wrought gold.

When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?And they said, Some[ say that thou art] John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed[ it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him,[ there is] no beauty that we should desire him.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to[ give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
