“ You are the most beautiful woman of all. How is the one you love better than others? How is he better than anyone else? Why do you ask us to make you this promise?”

Why is your lover better than all others, O woman of rare beauty? What makes your lover so special that we must promise this?

你這女子中最美麗的啊！你若不知道，可以出去，跟隨羊群的腳蹤，在牧人的帳棚邊，牧放你的山羊羔。

你這女子中極美麗的啊！你的良人到哪裡去了？你的良人轉到哪裡去了？讓我們與你去尋找他吧！

唯獨我的鴿子，我的完全人，是獨一的；是她母親獨一的寶貝，是生養她者的寵兒。眾女子看見她，都稱她為有福；王后妃嬪見了，也都讚賞她，說：“那出現如破曉的晨光，美麗如月亮，燦爛如日頭，威武有如展開旗幟的軍隊的是誰呢？”

王所愛的女子在宮裡，極其榮華；她的衣服全是用金線繡成的。

耶穌來到該撒利亞．腓立比的地區，就問自己的門徒：“人說人子是誰？”他們回答：“有人說是施洗的約翰，有人說是以利亞，也有人說是耶利米，或是先知裡的一位。”他問他們：“你們說我是誰？”西門．彼得回答：“你是基督，是永生神的兒子。”耶穌對他說：“約拿的兒子西門，你是有福的，因為這不是人﹙“人”原文作“肉和血”。﹚指示你的，而是我在天上的父啟示你的。

他在耶和華面前如嫩芽生長起來，像根出於乾旱之地；他沒有佳形，也沒有威儀，好叫我們仰慕他；他也沒有美貌，使我們被他吸引。

神的城啊！有很多榮耀的事，都是指著你說的。（細拉）

如果我們的福音被蒙蔽了，那是對滅亡的人才蒙蔽的。這些不信的人被這世代的神弄瞎了他們的心眼，使他們看不見基督榮耀的福音的光；基督就是神的形象。我們並不是傳揚自己，而是傳揚耶穌基督是主，並且為了耶穌的緣故成了你們的僕人。因為那說“要有光從黑暗裡照出來”的神，已經照在我們的心裡，要我們把神的榮光照出去，就是使人可以認識那在基督臉上的榮光。

耶穌進了耶路撒冷，全城都震動起來，他們問：“這人是誰？”

道成了肉身，住在我們中間，滿有恩典和真理。我們見過他的榮光，正是從父而來的獨生子的榮光。
