I came down to the walnut grove to see the blossoms of the valley, to see if the vines were budding and the pomegranates blooming.

The Lord has sworn with His right hand and His strong arm: I will no longer give your grain to your enemies for food, and foreigners will not drink your new wine you have labored for.For those who gather grain will eat it and praise the Lord, and those who harvest the grapes will drink the wine in My holy courts.

The Lord of Hosts will defend them. They will consume and conquer with slingstones; they will drink and be rowdy as if with wine. If only I could treat you like my brother, one who nursed at my mother’s breasts, I would find you in public and kiss you, and no one would scorn me.

So each of the disciples, according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Judea.

“ You are to celebrate the Festival of Booths for seven days when you have gathered in everything from your threshing floor and winepress.Rejoice during your festival— you, your son and daughter, your male and female slave, as well as the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow within your gates.You are to hold a seven-day festival for the Lord your God in the place He chooses, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, and you will have abundant joy.“ All your males are to appear three times a year before the Lord your God in the place He chooses: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Booths. No one is to appear before the Lord empty-handed.Everyone must appear with a gift suited to his means, according to the blessing the Lord your God has given you.

The Lord will always lead you, satisfy you in a parched land, and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden and like a spring whose waters never run dry.

“ And the King will answer them,‘ I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’

When she finds it, she calls her women friends and neighbors together, saying,‘ Rejoice with me, because I have found the silver coin I lost!’I tell you, in the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”

and coming home, he calls his friends and neighbors together, saying to them,‘ Rejoice with me, because I have found my lost sheep!’I tell you, in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous people who don’t need repentance.

You who dwell in the gardens— companions are listening for your voice— let me hear you!

saying: I will proclaim Your name to My brothers; I will sing hymns to You in the congregation.Again, I will trust in Him. And again, Here I am with the children God gave Me.Now since the children have flesh and blood in common, Jesus also shared in these, so that through His death He might destroy the one holding the power of death— that is, the Devil—

And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless actions, but be filled by the Spirit:

As for the holy people who are in the land, they are the noble ones. All my delight is in them.

But her profits and wages will be dedicated to the Lord. They will not be stored or saved, for her profit will go to those who live in the Lord’s presence, to provide them with ample food and sacred clothing.

“ And I say to you, My friends, don’t fear those who kill the body, and after that can do nothing more.

“ Come, everyone who is thirsty, come to the waters; and you without money, come, buy, and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost!Why do you spend money on what is not food, and your wages on what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and you will enjoy the choicest of foods.

For the Lord will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places, and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and melodious song.

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: My servants will eat, but you will be hungry; My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty; My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.

He will see it out of His anguish, and He will be satisfied with His knowledge. My righteous Servant will justify many, and He will carry their iniquities.

The Lord values those who fear Him, those who put their hope in His faithful love.
