My bride, you are like a garden that is locked up. My sister, you are like a spring of water that has a fence around it. You are like a fountain that is sealed up.

A garden locked is my sister, my bride, a spring locked, a fountain sealed.

You are my private garden, my treasure, my bride, a secluded spring, a hidden fountain.

Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well.Should your springs overflow in the streets, your streams of water in the public squares?Let them be yours alone, never to be shared with strangers.May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.

“ Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”
