大能者啊！愿你腰间佩上刀，彰显你的尊荣和威严。

愿圣民因所得的荣耀高兴，愿他们在床上欢呼。愿称赞神的话常在他们口中；愿他们手里拿着两刃的剑，为要报复列国，惩罚万民；用锁链捆住他们的君王，用铁镣锁住他们的权贵，要在他们身上施行记录在册上的审判。这就是他所有圣民的尊荣。你们要赞美耶和华。

拿起信心的盾牌，用来扑灭那恶者所有的火箭；并且要戴上救恩的头盔，拿起圣灵的宝剑，就是神的道，藉着各样的祷告和祈求，随时在圣灵里祈祷，并且要在这事上恒久警醒，为众圣徒祈求。

“我耶和华是看守葡萄园的；我时刻浇灌着它，并且为免有人毁坏它，我日夜都看守着。

我们就这样作工；一半人紧握着枪，从黎明直到星宿出现的时候。那时，我又对众人说：“各人和他的仆人都要在耶路撒冷城中过夜，这样他们可以在夜间作我们的守卫，日间工作。”
