As surely as I live,” says the Lord,“ they will be like jewels or bridal ornaments for you to display.

Then the man said,“ Let me go, for the dawn is breaking!” But Jacob said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Even in the womb, Jacob struggled with his brother; when he became a man, he even fought with God.Yes, he wrestled with the angel and won. He wept and pleaded for a blessing from him. There at Bethel he met God face to face, and God spoke to him—

“ Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labor. For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband,” says the Lord.“ Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense!For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.

“ Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.

Before I realized it, my strong desires had taken me to the chariot of a noble man.

Your head is as majestic as Mount Carmel, and the sheen of your hair radiates royalty. The king is held captive by its tresses.

And as they went, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they ran to him, grasped his feet, and worshiped him.

The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him.

But the other woman, Sarah, represents the heavenly Jerusalem. She is the free woman, and she is our mother.

I publicly proclaim bold promises. I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner. I would not have told the people of Israel to seek me if I could not be found. I, the Lord, speak only what is true and declare only what is right.

“ Mary!” Jesus said. She turned to him and cried out,“ Rabboni!”( which is Hebrew for“ Teacher”).“ Don’t cling to me,” Jesus said,“ for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write on them the name of my God, and they will be citizens in the city of my God— the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. And I will also write on them my new name.
