I will get up now and go about the city, through its streets and squares; I will search for the one my heart loves. So I looked for him but did not find him.

你们要走遍耶路撒冷的街市，在广场寻找，看是否有人行公平、求诚实；若有，我就赦免这城。

还有，你们要知道，现在正是该从睡梦中醒来的时候了；因为我们得救，现在比初信的时候更近了。

听从我，天天在我门口守望，在我门框旁等候的，那人有福了。

你们要醒悟为善，不再犯罪；因为有人不认识上帝。我说这话是要使你们羞愧。

你是作我保障的上帝，为何丢弃我呢？我为何因仇敌的欺压时常哀痛呢？求你发出你的亮光和信实，好引导我，带我到你的圣山，到你的居所！我就走到上帝的祭坛，到赐我喜乐的上帝那里。上帝，我的上帝啊，我要弹琴称谢你！我的心哪，你为何忧闷？为何在我里面烦躁？应当仰望上帝，我还要称谢他，我当面的拯救，我的上帝。

她站立在十字路口，在道路旁高处的顶上，在城门旁，城门口，入口处，她呼喊：

“难道主要永远丢弃我，不再施恩吗？难道他的慈爱永远穷尽，他的应许世世废弃吗？难道上帝忘记施恩，因发怒就止住他的怜悯吗？”（细拉）我说，至高者右手的能力已改变，这是我的悲哀。

因为使一切显露出来的就是光。所以有话说：“你这睡着的人醒过来吧！要从死人中复活，基督要光照你了。”

无人求告你的名，无人奋力抓住你。你转脸不顾我们，你使我们因罪孽而融化。

我起来，要为我的良人开门。我的两手滴下没药，我的指头有没药汁滴在门闩上。

那仆人回来，把这些事都告诉了主人。这家的主人就发怒，对仆人说：‘快出去，到城里大街小巷，领那贫穷的、残疾的、失明的、瘸腿的来。’仆人说：‘主啊，你所吩咐的已经办了，还有空位。’主人对仆人说：‘你出去，到大街小巷强拉人进来，坐满我的屋子。

我的上帝，我的上帝，为什么离弃我？为什么远离不救我，不听我的呻吟？我的上帝啊，我白日呼求，你不应允；夜间呼求，也不得安宁。

智慧在街市上呼喊，在广场上高声呐喊，在热闹街头呼叫，在城门口，在城中，发出言语，说：

你的瀑布发声，深渊就与深渊响应，你的波浪洪涛漫过我身。白昼，耶和华必施慈爱；黑夜，我要歌颂祈祷赐我生命的上帝。我要对上帝—我的磐石说：“你为何忘记我呢？我为何因仇敌的欺压时常哀痛呢？”

他回到门徒那里，见他们睡着了，就对彼得说：“怎么样？你们不能同我警醒一小时吗？总要警醒祷告，免得陷入试探。你们心灵固然愿意，肉体却软弱了。”
