我良人可比於獐或小鹿、立於我家之墻後、由窗而觀、從櫺而窺、

以赛亚说了这些话，是因为看见了耶稣的荣耀，就讲论他的事。

关于这救恩，那些预言你们要得着这恩典的先知，曾经寻求过，详细查考过。他们查考了自己里面基督之灵，当他预言有关基督的苦难和此后的荣耀时，究竟指明的是什么时候、或什么样的情况。他们蒙了启示，知道所服事的这一切，不是为自己，而是为你们。如今，这些事藉着从天上派来的圣灵，通过那些向你们传福音的人，传讲给了你们；对于这些事，天使们也渴望能详细察看。

你们查考经文，因你们以为从中可以得到永恒的生命。其实这经文就是为我做见证的。

两个人就把在路上所发生的，以及耶稣掰饼的时候怎样被他们认出来的事，都述说了一遍。

事实上，如果你们信摩西，就会信我，因为他写了关于我的事；

这些不过是将来之事的影子，而实体却属于基督。

既然律法带有那将要来的美好事物的影子，它不是那些事物的本像，就绝不能藉着年年不断地献上同样的祭物，使近前来的人得以完全。

我们不像摩西那样，他把帕子蒙在脸上，使以色列子民不能注视那渐渐消失的荣光的结局。可是，他们的心思刚硬；事实上，直到今天诵读旧约的时候，同样的帕子仍然存在，没有被揭去，因为那帕子只有在基督里才被除去。的确，直到今天，摩西书无论什么时候被诵读，那帕子仍然盖在他们的心上。可是一个人什么时候归向主，那帕子就被除掉了。主就是圣灵，主的灵在哪里，哪里就有自由；而且脸上的帕子既然被揭去了，我们大家就像镜子返照出主的荣光，正在被改变成与主同样的形像，从荣耀归入荣耀，这正是出于主——圣灵。

因为他自己是我们的和平，他使两者合而为一，废除了那隔在中间仇恨的墙；以自己的身体，废除了谕令中诫命的律法，为了把两者在他自己里面造成一个新人，缔造和平。

如今我们对着镜子观看，模糊不清，但那时候就要面对面了；如今我所知道的有限，但那时候就要完全知道了，就像我已经被完全知道那样；

圣灵指明这一点：只要第一间会幕还存在，进入至圣所的道路就还没有显明出来。这会幕是现今时代的一个象征，在这里所献上的礼物和祭物，并不能使事奉者的良心得以完全，

因此，弟兄们，我们藉着耶稣的血，可以坦然无惧地进入至圣所。他为我们开辟了一条又新又活的道路，从幔子经过；这幔子就是他的身体。

我就俯伏在他的脚前，要敬拜他。可是他对我说：“你要注意，不可这样！我与你和你的弟兄们——那些持守有关耶稣见证的，都是同做奴仆的。你应当敬拜神！因为有关耶稣的见证，才是预言的灵魂所在。”
