我良人可比於獐或小鹿、立於我家之墻後、由窗而觀、從櫺而窺、

婦歟、爾當服夫如服主、蓋夫為婦之首、如基督為教會之首、為教會全體之救主、教會服基督、婦凡事服夫、亦當如是、夫歟、爾當愛婦、如基督愛教會、為教會舍己、以水之洗與道而潔之、使之成聖、俾立於己前為榮耀之教會、無瑕垢縐容等類之疵、乃聖潔純全無玷、夫當愛婦如己身、愛婦即愛己、從未有人惡己身者、乃保之養之、如主之保養教會、我儕為主身之肢體骨肉、經云、故人離父母、好合其妻、二者成為一體、此奧妙大矣、我引之以指基督與教會、然爾曹各當愛其妻如己、婦亦當敬其夫、
