聽啊！是我良人的聲音，他攀過高崗，躍過山丘，終於來了！我的良人好像羚羊和幼鹿。看啊，他就在牆外，正從窗戶往裡觀看，從窗櫺間往裡窺視。

律法只是將來美事的一個投影，並非本體的真像，所以年復一年的獻祭不能使前來敬拜的人純全。

這使我們更加確信先知的預言。你們要留意這些預言，把這些預言看作照耀在黑暗中的明燈，一直到天破曉、晨星在你們心中升起。
