But at the evening offering I stood up from my humiliation, even with my garment and my robe torn, and I bowed down on my knees and spread out my hands to the Lord my God;and I said,“ My God, I am ashamed and humiliated to lift up my face to You, my God, for our wrongful deeds have risen above our heads, and our guilt has grown even to the heavens.

“ You who sit in the gardens: My companions are listening for your voice— Let me hear it!”

“ I am black and beautiful, You daughters of Jerusalem, Like the tents of Kedar, Like the curtains of Solomon.

And He said,“ I am the God of your father— the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.

and it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.Then I will take My hand away and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen.”

“ I was asleep but my heart was awake. A voice! My beloved was knocking:‘ Open to me, my sister, my darling, My dove, my perfect one! For my head is drenched with dew, My locks with the dew drops of the night.’

But the Lord said to him,“ Who has made the human mouth? Or who makes anyone unable to speak or deaf, or able to see or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?Now then go, and I Myself will be with your mouth, and instruct you in what you are to say.”But he said,“ Please, Lord, now send the message by whomever You will.”

Leave the cities and live among the rocky cliffs, You inhabitants of Moab, And be like a dove that nests Beyond the mouth of the chasm.

Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.

Now when the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling and fell down before Him, and admitted in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed.And He said to her,“ Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.”

Indeed, the Lord will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her ruins. And He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, Thanksgiving and the sound of a melody.

But my dove, my perfect one, is unique: She is her mother’s only daughter; She is the pure child of the one who gave birth to her. The young women saw her and called her blessed, The queens and the concubines also, and they praised her, saying,‘ Who is this who looks down like the dawn, As beautiful as the full moon, As pure as the sun, As awesome as an army with banners?’

“ Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be as wary as serpents, and as innocent as doves.

If I called and He answered me, I could not believe that He was listening to my voice.

“ Righteousness belongs to You, Lord, but to us open shame, as it is this day— to the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and all Israel, those who are nearby and those who are far away in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of their unfaithful deeds which they have committed against You.

Do not give the soul of Your turtledove to the wild animal; Do not forget the life of Your afflicted forever.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;and they* cried out with a loud voice, saying,“ Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

but it should be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless with great joy,

that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.

“ How beautiful you are, my darling, How beautiful you are! Your eyes are like doves.”

As for the terror you cause, The arrogance of your heart has deceived you, You who live in the clefts of the rock, Who occupy the height of the hill. Though you make your nest as high as an eagle’s, I will bring you down from there,” declares the Lord.

And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say,“ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.”And when the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever,the twenty four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and they will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

Who are these who fly like a cloud And like the doves to their windows?

Then I said,“ Woe to me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of armies.”

Yet You are holy, You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel.

He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; And to him who sets his way properly I will show the salvation of God.”

Then the King will crave your beauty. Because He is your Lord, bow down to Him.

“ If you yourself do not know, Most beautiful among women, Go out on the trail of the flock, And pasture your young goats By the tents of the shepherds.

When you lie down among the sheepfolds, You are like the wings of a dove covered with silver, And its pinions with glistening gold.

In order to go into the clefts of the rocks and the crannies of the cliffs Before the terror of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to terrify the earth.

yet He has now reconciled you in His body of flesh through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—

When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

After He was baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and settling on Him,

Even when their survivors escape, they will be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, each over his own wrongdoing.

The arrogance of your heart has deceived you, The one who lives in the clefts of the rock, On the height of his dwelling place, Who says in his heart,‘ Who will bring me down to earth?’

let’s approach God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Your people will volunteer freely on the day of Your power; In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew.

Offer God a sacrifice of thanksgiving And pay your vows to the Most High;Call upon Me on the day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you will honor Me.”
