我的愛人應時對我說：『我的愛侶啊，起來吧！我的美人哪，走吧！

因為在收割以前、花苞放完，花果結成了將熟的葡萄時，他就用鐮刀削去顫動的嫩枝，砍除蔓延的枝條。

我們作為上帝同工的、也勸你們不要空受上帝的恩。因為他說：『在接納的時機我俯聽了你；在拯救的日子我援助了你』；你看，現在正是悅納的時機啊；你看，現在正是拯救的日子啊。

他的幼枝必伸展出；他的榮美必像橄欖樹，而他的香氣像利巴嫩。

因為地怎樣發出所生的，而園子怎樣使所種的發生起來，主永恆主也怎樣使義氣和可頌可讚的事發生於列國之前。

所以我們替基督做大使，彷彿是上帝藉着我們來勸勉。我們替基督求你們，跟上帝復和吧。

我的愛人哪，來吧，咱們出去、到田間，就在鳳仙花叢間住宿吧；咱們清早起來，到葡萄園去看看葡萄樹發了芽了沒有，花開了沒有，石榴放了蕊了沒有。在那裏我要將我的愛情獻給你。催愛果正在放香呢；在我們家門附近有各樣極佳美的果子，新陳都有。我的愛人哪，這都是我為你珍藏着的。

於是耶穌講這個比喻說：『有一個人有一棵無花果樹栽在他的葡萄園裏；他來，在樹上找果子，卻找不着。就對葡萄園工說：「你看，我來、在這無花果樹上找果子、卻找不着，已經三年了。把它砍了吧；何必讓它白佔地土呢？」

說：『巴不得連你也在這日子知道那關於你平安之事哦；無奈已被隱藏、使你的眼看不出來了。

我說我要上這棕樹，抓住枝子。哦，願你的兩乳像一掛一掛的葡萄，願你鼻子的氣味香如蘋果；

倉裏雖還沒有穀種閒着，葡萄樹、無花果樹、石榴樹、橄欖樹、雖都還沒結實，從今日起、我必賜福與你們了。』

『因為霖雨和雪怎樣從天上降下，並不返回天上，乃是滋潤大地，使地上生五穀，發芽生長，使撒種的有種子，使喫飯的人有糧食，照樣，我的話、從我口中發出的、也怎樣不徒然返回於我，總要作成我所主意的，使我所發表到的事都得成功。

我下核桃園，要看看谿谷中的青葱嫩綠，要看看葡萄樹發芽了沒有，石榴開花了沒有；

『你們要從無花果樹學個比喻：當它的枝子一發嫩長葉時，你們就知道夏天近了。
