Even storks in the sky know their seasons. Turtledoves, swallows, and cranes are aware of their migration, but my people do not know the requirements of the LORD.

Happy are the people who know the joyful shout; LORD, they walk in the light from your face.

The wilderness and the dry land will be glad; the desert will rejoice and blossom like a wildflower.It will blossom abundantly and will also rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.

You will indeed go out with joy and be peacefully guided; the mountains and the hills will break into singing before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

I came down to the walnut grove to see the blossoms of the valley, to see if the vines were budding and the pomegranates blooming.

And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless living, but be filled by the Spirit:speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music with your heart to the Lord,giving thanks always for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
