Boaz replied,“ I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband— how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before.

Boaz replied,“ I’ve been told all about you. I’ve heard about everything you have done for your mother- in- law since your husband died. I know that you left your father and mother. I know that you left your country. You came to live with people you didn’t know before.

But Boaz answered her,“ All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told to me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before.

“ Yes, I know,” Boaz replied.“ But I also know about everything you have done for your mother in law since the death of your husband. I have heard how you left your father and mother and your own land to live here among complete strangers.

Boaz answered her,“ Everything you have done for your mother-in-law since your husband’s death has been fully reported to me: how you left your father and mother and your native land, and how you came to a people you didn’t previously know.

Boaz replied to her,“ All that you have done for your mother in law after the death of your husband has been fully reported to me, and how you left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and came to a people that you did not previously know.

And Boaz answered and said to her,“ It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been showed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother- in- law since the death of thy husband; and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people that thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz answered her,“ Everything you have done for your mother-in-law since your husband’s death has been fully reported to me: how you left your father and mother and the land of your birth, and how you came to a people you didn’t previously know.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and[ how] thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz replied to her,“ I have been given a full report of all that you have done for your mother-in-law following the death of your husband– how you left your father and your mother, as well as your homeland, and came to live among people you did not know previously.

Boaz answered her,“ I have been told all about what you have done for your mother- in- law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father, your mother, and the land of your birth, and have come to a people that you didn’t know before.

耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，人为神的国撇下房屋、妻子、弟兄、父母或儿女，没有不在今世得许多倍，来世得永生的。”

这样，你们中间不论谁，如果不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的门徒。

她们又放声大哭。俄耳巴就和婆婆吻别，路得却舍不得离开拿俄米。拿俄米说：“你看，你嫂嫂已经回到她同胞和她的神那里去了。你也跟着嫂嫂回去吧。”路得说：“请不要逼我离开你回去，不跟从你。你到哪里去，我也要到哪里去；你在哪里过夜，我也要在哪里过夜；你的同胞就是我的同胞，你的神就是我的神；你死在哪里，我也要死在哪里，葬在哪里。除非死亡把你我分离；如果我离开你，愿耶和华加倍惩罚我。”拿俄米看路得坚决要跟她走，就不再多费唇舌了。她们双双上路，来到伯利恒。她们到达的时候，全城都因她们的缘故骚动起来。妇女们说：“这是拿俄米吗？”拿俄米对她们说：“不要叫我拿俄米，叫我玛拉吧，因为全能者使我吃尽了苦头。我满满地出去，耶和华却使我空空地回来，你们为什么还叫我拿俄米呢？耶和华折磨我，全能者加害于我。”拿俄米就这样回来了。她媳妇摩押女子路得随着她从摩押地回来。她们到达伯利恒，正是开始收割大麦的时候。

王所爱的女子啊！你要听，要看，要留心地听；你要忘记你的本族和你的父家；

因着信，摩西长大了以后，就拒绝被称为法老女儿的儿子。他宁愿选择和神的子民一同受苦，也不肯享受罪恶中暂时的快乐。在他看来，为着基督受的凌辱，比埃及的财物更宝贵，因为他注视将来的赏赐。

他们把两只船拢了岸，撇下一切，跟从了耶稣。

你要把你的道路交托耶和华，并倚靠他，他就必成全。他必使你的公义好像光发出，使你的公正如日中天。

因着信，亚伯拉罕在蒙召的时候，就听命往他将要承受为业的地方去；他出去的时候，还不知道要往哪里去。因着信，他在应许之地寄居，好像是在异乡，与承受同样应许的以撒、雅各一样住在帐棚里。

说：‘你的罪赦了’，或说：‘起来行走’，哪一样容易呢？

拿俄米说：“我女儿啊，你们回去吧，为什么要跟我去呢？我肚子里还有儿子作你们的丈夫吗？
