Then Naomi said to her two daughters- in- law,“ Go back, each of you, to your mother’s home. May the Lord show you kindness, as you have shown kindness to your dead husbands and to me.

She said to them,“ Each of you go back to your mother’s home. May the Lord show faithful love to you as you have shown to the dead and to me.

And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother’s house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.

Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law,“ Listen to me! Each of you should return to your mother’s home! May the LORD show you the same kind of devotion that you have shown to your deceased husbands and to me!

後馬倫基連亦死、遺拿阿米、無夫無子。

拿阿米曰、彼施恩於存者、亦不遺亡者、願耶和華錫嘏焉。又曰、彼與我為戚屬、得贖我產者、此其一也。

婦從主命、當順其夫、

婦當服夫、乃宗主所宜、

以福許人之首誡、曰、敬爾父母、則受福享壽於世、

蓋知由主必得嗣業之賞、以爾所事者、主基督也、

願主矜恤阿尼色弗家、彼屢慰我、不以我縲絏為恥、在羅馬時、多方求我、至於得見、願主恩賜矜恤之、聿至乃日、昔在以弗所、阿尼色弗事我、爾知之矣、

如事耶和華爾視為不善、今日簡所欲事者、或爾祖在大河東所事之上帝、或爾居斯土亞摩哩人之上帝、惟我與全家必事耶和華。民對曰、我斷不可違耶和華、事他上帝、蓋我上帝耶和華、導我祖與我出埃及、脫於賤役、行諸異跡、俾我目擊、祐我於所行之途、拯我於所過之國。耶和華驅斯民於我前、亦驅斯土之亞摩哩人、故必事我上帝耶和華。約書亞曰、爾不能事耶和華者、以耶和華乃聖、斷不容以他上帝匹之、故不赦爾罪愆。如爾違耶和華、事他上帝、則祐爾之後、必反害爾、至於滅亡。民對曰、我必事耶和華。約書亞曰、爾簡耶和華而事之、爾自為證曰、我願自證。曰汝中所有他人之上帝、今當去之、誠心相從以色列族上帝耶和華。民謂約書亞曰、我欲奉事我上帝耶和華而遵其命。是日約書亞與民立約、設法度禮儀於示劍。○以是言錄於上帝律例册、立大石於橡下、近耶和華聖室。告民曰、我儕以此石為憑、耶和華所諭我者、斯石聞之、如爾違爾上帝、可以此石為憑。約書亞遂散民、各歸其業。○

眾同行、耶穌顧曰、人就我而不過於愛父母、妻子、兄弟、姊妹、與己生命者、不得為我徒、不任十字架從我者、亦不得為我徒、爾曹孰有建塔、不先坐計其資、足以竣事乎、恐基而不成、眾見哂曰、此人作之於始、乃不能成之於終也、或有王出、與他王戰、非先坐而運籌、能以一萬敵來者二萬乎、不然、敵尚遠、將遣使求成矣、如是、爾曹不舍所有者、不得為我徒也、○

我得諸物有餘、以巴弗提以爾馨香可納之胙、上帝所悅者惠我、我受之甚饒、吾之上帝因耶穌基督、將以其富有、暢爾所欲、
