我豐富而出、主使我空匱而歸、主降禍於我、全能者困苦我、何仍稱我拿俄米耶、

說：“我赤身出於母胎，也必赤身歸去。賞賜的是耶和華，收回的也是耶和華；耶和華的名是應當稱頌的。”

耶和華使人貧窮，也使人富足；使人降卑，也使人升高。他從灰塵中抬舉貧寒的人，從糞堆中提拔窮乏的人，使他們與顯貴同坐，承受尊貴的座位。大地的柱子屬於耶和華，他把全地安放在柱子上面。

你重新設立見證攻擊我，對我加增你的忿怒，派兵輪流攻擊我。

又把我捆綁起來。’這就作為證據；我身體的枯瘦也當面作證反對我。

你記錄判詞攻擊我，又使我承當我幼年的罪孽；

萬軍之耶和華說：“我必臨近你們施行審判；我要快快指證那些行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假誓的、在工錢上欺壓雇工的、欺壓孤兒寡婦的、屈枉寄居的和不敬畏我的。”
