曰、毋稱我拿阿米、乃稱我馬喇、蓋至能者困苦我也。

拿俄米謂之曰、勿稱我拿俄米、拿俄米譯即樂之義當稱我瑪拉、瑪拉譯即苦之義蓋全能者使我多歷艱苦也、

“ Don’t call me Naomi. Call me Mara,” she answered,“ for the Almighty has made me very bitter.

But she said to them,“ Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara; for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.

“ Don’t call me Naomi. Call me Mara,” she answered,“ for the Almighty has made me very bitter.

But she replied to them,“ Don’t call me‘ Naomi’! Call me‘ Mara’ because the Sovereign One has treated me very harshly.

She said to them,“ Don’t call me Naomi. Call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

因全能者的箭射中了我，我的灵喝尽其毒；上帝的惊吓摆阵攻击我。

因耶和华愤怒的杖，我是遭遇困苦的人。他驱赶我走入黑暗，没有光明。他反手攻击我，终日不停。他使我皮肉枯干，折断我的骨头。他筑垒攻击我，以苦楚和艰难围困我；使我住在幽暗之处，像死了许久的人一样。他围住我，使我无法脱身；他使我的铜链沉重。尽管我哀号求救，他仍拦阻我的祷告。他用凿过的石头挡住我的道路，使我的路径弯曲。他向我如埋伏的熊，如在隐密处的狮子。他使我转离正路，把我撕碎，使我凄凉。他拉弓，命我站立，当作箭靶；把箭袋中的箭射入我的肺腑。我成了全体百姓的笑柄，成了他们终日的歌曲。他使我受尽苦楚，饱食茵陈；用沙石磨断我的牙，以灰尘覆盖我。你使我远离平安，我忘了何为福乐。于是我说：“我的力量衰败，在耶和华那里我毫无指望！”求你记得我的困苦和流离，它如茵陈和苦胆一般；我心想念这些，就在我里面忧闷。

凡管教的事，当时不觉得快乐，反觉得痛苦；后来却为那经过锻炼的人结出平安的果子，就是义的果子。

我令自己安静直到天亮；他像狮子折断我所有的骨头，你使我命丧于旦夕。

亚伯兰九十九岁时，耶和华向他显现，对他说：“我是全能的上帝。你当在我面前行走，作完全的人，

“看哪，上帝所惩治的人是有福的！所以你不可轻看全能者的管教。

愿全能的上帝使你们在那人面前蒙怜悯，放你们另一个兄弟和便雅悯回来。我若要失丧儿子，就丧了吧！”

就该知道是上帝倾覆我，用罗网围绕我。

因为我终日遭灾难，每日早晨受惩治。

我自幼受苦，几乎死亡；你使我惊恐，烦乱不安。

主上帝说：“我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛，是今在、昔在、以后永在的全能者。”

我从前向亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各显现为全能的上帝；至于我的名耶和华，我未曾让他们知道。

你能寻见上帝的奥秘吗？你能寻见全能者的极限吗？

我没有看见城内有殿，因主—全能者上帝和羔羊就是城的殿。
