曰、勿稱我拿俄米、當稱我為瑪拉、拿俄米譯即樂瑪拉譯即苦蓋全能者待我苦甚、

曰、毋稱我拿阿米、乃稱我馬喇、蓋至能者困苦我也。

拿俄米謂之曰、勿稱我拿俄米、拿俄米譯即樂之義當稱我瑪拉、瑪拉譯即苦之義蓋全能者使我多歷艱苦也、

She said to them,“ Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

“ Don’t call me Naomi. Call me Mara,” she answered,“ for the Almighty has made me very bitter.

But she said to them,“ Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara; for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.

“ Don’t call me Naomi. Call me Mara,” she answered,“ for the Almighty has made me very bitter.

And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.

But she replied to them,“ Don’t call me‘ Naomi’! Call me‘ Mara’ because the Sovereign One has treated me very harshly.

She said to them,“ Don’t call me Naomi. Call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

因全能者的箭射入我身；其毒，我的靈喝盡了；神的驚嚇擺陣攻擊我。

我是因耶和華忿怒的杖，遭遇困苦的人。他引導我，使我行在黑暗中，不行在光明裏。他真是終日再三反手攻擊我。他使我的皮肉枯乾；他折斷我的骨頭。他築壘攻擊我，用苦楚和艱難圍困我。他使我住在幽暗之處，像死了許久的人一樣。他用籬笆圍住我，使我不能出去；他使我的銅鍊沉重。我哀號求救；他使我的禱告不得上達。他用鑿過的石頭擋住我的道；他使我的路彎曲。他向我如熊埋伏，如獅子在隱密處。他使我轉離正路，將我撕碎，使我淒涼。他張弓將我當作箭靶子。他把箭袋中的箭射入我的肺腑。我成了眾民的笑話；他們終日以我為歌曲。他用苦楚充滿我，使我飽用茵蔯。他又用沙石磣斷我的牙，用灰塵將我蒙蔽。你使我遠離平安，我忘記好處。我就說：我的力量衰敗；我在耶和華那裏毫無指望！耶和華啊，求你記念我如茵蔯和苦膽的困苦窘迫。我心想念這些，就在裏面憂悶。

凡管教的事，當時不覺得快樂，反覺得愁苦；後來卻為那經練過的人結出平安的果子，就是義。

我使自己安靜直到天亮；他像獅子折斷我一切的骨頭，從早到晚，他要使我完結。

亞伯蘭年九十九歲的時候，耶和華向他顯現，對他說：「我是全能的神。你當在我面前作完全人，

神所懲治的人是有福的！所以你不可輕看全能者的管教。

但願全能的神使你們在那人面前蒙憐憫，釋放你們的那弟兄和便雅憫回來。我若喪了兒子，就喪了吧！」

就該知道是神傾覆我，用網羅圍繞我。

因為，我終日遭災難；每早晨受懲治。

我自幼受苦，幾乎死亡；我受你的驚恐，甚至慌張。

主神說：「我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛，是昔在、今在、以後永在的全能者。」

我從前向亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各顯現為全能的神；至於我名耶和華，他們未曾知道。

你考察就能測透神嗎？你豈能盡情測透全能者嗎？

我未見城內有殿，因主神－全能者和羔羊為城的殿。
