But Ruth replied,“ Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.

But Ruth replied,“ Don’t try to make me leave you and go back. Where you go I’ll go. Where you stay I’ll stay. Your people will be my people. Your God will be my God.

But Ruth said:“ Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God.

And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, and to return from following after thee, for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge; thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God;

But Ruth replied: Do not persuade me to leave you or go back and not follow you. For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live; your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.

And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee,[ or] to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people[ shall be] my people, and thy God my God:

But Ruth replied,“ Stop urging me to abandon you! For wherever you go, I will go. Wherever you live, I will live. Your people will become my people, and your God will become my God.

Ruth said,“ Don’t urge me to leave you, and to return from following you, for where you go, I will go; and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people, and your God my God.

Boaz replied to her,“ All that you have done for your mother in law after the death of your husband has been fully reported to me, and how you left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and came to a people that you did not previously know.May the Lord reward your work, and may your wages be full from the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”

But Ittai answered the king and said,“ As the Lord lives, and as my lord the king lives, wherever my lord the king may be, whether for death or for life, there assuredly shall your servant be!”

When the Lord has compassion on Jacob and again chooses Israel, and settles them on their own land, then strangers will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here please, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.Then the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel went out to Elisha and said to him,“ Are you aware that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said,“ Yes, I am aware; say nothing about it.”And Elijah said to him,“ Elisha, please stay here, for the Lord has sent me to Jericho.” But he said,“ As surely as the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they came to Jericho.Then the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho approached Elisha and said to him,“ Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he answered,“ Yes, I know; say nothing about it.”And Elijah said to him,“ Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” But he said,“ As surely as the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.

Listen, daughter, look and incline your ear: Forget your people and your father’s house;

Or what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For they themselves report about us as to the kind of reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,

Peter* said to Him,“ Lord, why can I not follow You right now? I will lay down my life for You.”

Then a scribe came and said to Him,“ Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”

And they approached the village where they were going, and He gave the impression that He was going farther.And so they strongly urged Him, saying,“ Stay with us, for it is getting toward evening, and the day is now nearly over.” So He went in to stay with them.

The king responded to Daniel and said,“ Your God truly is a God of gods and a Lord of kings and a revealer of secrets, since you have been able to reveal this secret.”

These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are celibate. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from mankind as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
