“ Look,” Naomi said to her,“ your sister in law has gone back to her people and to her gods. You should do the same.”

拿娥米说：“看哪，你嫂嫂已经回她的百姓和她的神明那里去了，你也跟你嫂嫂回去吧！”

拿娥米说：“看哪，你嫂嫂已经回她的百姓和她的神明那里去了，你也跟你嫂嫂回去吧！”

拿俄米说：“你看，你嫂嫂已经回她家乡和她拜的神明那里去了，你也跟着嫂嫂回去吧！”

拿俄米说：“你看，你嫂嫂已经回到她同胞和她的神那里去了。你也跟着嫂嫂回去吧。”

娜娥米说：“看哪，你嫂子已经回到她的族人和她的神那里去了，你也随着你嫂子回去吧！”

拿俄米說：「看哪，你嫂子已經回她本國和她所拜的神那裏去了，你也跟着你嫂子回去吧！」

拿娥米說：「看哪，你嫂嫂已經回她的百姓和她的神明那裏去了，你也跟你嫂嫂回去吧！」

拿娥米說：「看哪，你嫂嫂已經回她的百姓和她的神明那裏去了，你也跟你嫂嫂回去吧！」

拿俄米說：「你看，你嫂嫂已經回她家鄉和她拜的神明那裡去了，你也跟著嫂嫂回去吧！」

拿俄米說：“你看，你嫂嫂已經回到她同胞和她的神那裡去了。你也跟著嫂嫂回去吧。”

拿俄米說：『看哪，你嫂子已經回她族人和她所拜的神那裏去了；你也跟着你嫂子回去吧。』

娜娥米說：「看哪，你嫂子已經回到她的族人和她的神那裡去了，你也隨著你嫂子回去吧！」

拿俄米曰、爾之妯娌、已歸其國其神、汝其從之而歸、

拿阿米曰、爾之妯娌、已歸故國、奉其上帝、汝盍同歸。

拿俄米謂路得曰、爾姒已歸其故鄉、以事其諸神、原文作爾姒已歸其民及其諸神爾盍同之歸、

“ Look,” said Naomi,“ your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her.”

“ Look,” said Naomi.“ Your sister- in- law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her.”

And she said,“ See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.”

Naomi said,“ Look, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods. Follow your sister-in-law.”

Then she said,“ Behold, your sister in law has gone back to her people and her gods; return after your sister in law.”

And she said,“ Look, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.”

And she said, Behold, thy sister- in- law is gone back unto her people, and unto her god: return thou after thy sister- in- law.

Naomi said,“ Look, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her god. Follow your sister-in-law.”

And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.

So Naomi said,“ Look, your sister-in-law is returning to her people and to her god. Follow your sister-in-law back home!”

She said,“ Behold, your sister- in- law has gone back to her people and to her god. Follow your sister- in- law.”

You keep whatever your god Chemosh gives you, and we will keep whatever the Lord our God gives us.

And I will destroy those who used to worship me but now no longer do. They no longer ask for the Lord’s guidance or seek my blessings.”

But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you!” So they went down together to Bethel.

Then the king turned and said to Ittai, a leader of the men from Gath,“ Why are you coming with us? Go on back to King Absalom, for you are a guest in Israel, a foreigner in exile.You arrived only recently, and should I force you today to wander with us? I don’t even know where we will go. Go on back and take your kinsmen with you, and may the Lord show you his unfailing love and faithfulness.”

By this time they were nearing Emmaus and the end of their journey. Jesus acted as if he were going on,

But banish those who turn to crooked ways, O Lord. Take them away with those who do evil. May Israel have peace!

“ If you want to be my disciple, you must, by comparison, hate everyone else— your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters— yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple.And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple.“ But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it?Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you.They would say,‘ There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’“ Or what king would go to war against another king without first sitting down with his counselors to discuss whether his army of 10,000 could defeat the 20,000 soldiers marching against him?And if he can’t, he will send a delegation to discuss terms of peace while the enemy is still far away.So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.

These people left our churches, but they never really belonged with us; otherwise they would have stayed with us. When they left, it proved that they did not belong with us.

Everything they say is crooked and deceitful. They refuse to act wisely or do good.

Then Joshua warned the people,“ You are not able to serve the Lord, for he is a holy and jealous God. He will not forgive your rebellion and your sins.

The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy.But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word.

And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”
